Overall, the 3060, even if OC, is pretty underwhelming. I've had a 970 which cost less than half the cost of this for over the past 7 years, and while the card itself was fine the vRAM was limiting with any sort of mods for RPGs. This is a slight improvement; the vRAM is of course far more plentiful so happy about that, but the processing power is only a moderate improvement. And of course things are horrible for buying GPUs in general right now, but even at MSRP the series is pretty underwhelming. But I'd imagine it's much easier to obtain the 3060 cards over others, as I "won" the ability to purchase this card on only my third shuffle. I just so happened to be in the store when a few of these were restocked. This was right before things started getting a bit "easier" in regards to stock. It was around the beginning of March.For the price, which was a bit above retail, at the time I couldn't complain. Excellent card. Although on sale is a relative term these days. Upgraded from a PNY GTX 1650. The 1650 was running Mechwarrior 5 at 30 to 50 FPS @ 1080p maximum graphics. The 3060 is running it at 130 to 150 FPS max graphics at 1440p. So there is no comparison there, as expected.I did not overclock either of the cards. With the ASUS motherboard you have GPU tweak III. Great utility. I just use it for fan control. With MW5 at max graphics 1440p, 60 degrees C is the warmest it has reached. $400+ for a 3060, a week of gameplay makes that pill pretty easy to swallow. Higher FPS really keeps you from throwing keyboards, joysticks ect. If you are expecting RTX 3060 performance, you will not be dissapointed.

Paired with an I5-12600K and I can play any game out there on really high settings. Using the GPU Tweak software I'm able to keep temps around 40C on full blast and around 50-60C with fan on medium to low. The price of electricity has gone up and this card is SUPER efficient never drawing more than 110W overclocked which is amazing! This card looks great in my opinion. The RTX 3060 from Nvidia is a really great entry-level graphics card that supports Ray Tracing and DLSS. Both new technologies are used to improve game play in a lot of supported game titles. This card is really good and I use it in my personal system. It works great with no issues. I installed the necessary Nvidia Game Ready drivers from Geforce Experience and was ready to go. The 3060 was enough for my gaming needs and also can live stream quite nice. I am very satisfied with my purchase, and I am happy to have had the chance to buy this card. I know this shortage is bad, and it took me 5 months of trying, but I got it in the end.
