3060 is no joke of a card. 12GB VRAM too.

Great card, 4k compatible. Good enough for most gaming needs. It's no 3080/3090 but the 30 series card is very impressive at any level. I'm sure this card will be usable for many years to come. ASUS does a fine job tinkering with NVIDIA cards, getting the most out of them. 1 8 pin required to operate. The ASUS variety, as a warning, is a big card. Check your case size before you purchase.

Excellent card

I bought this mainly for the higher capacity of memory of my 5700xt, which I also bought from microcenter. I have to say this card runs extremely cool while running everything I play at ultra settings. While on paper this card is slower than the 5700xt I had, it does not seem to have any issues, and I notice no difference between the two, except this runs much cooler and has never crashed on me. Highly recommend if you can get your hands on this buy it!

I bought this mid-way through the GPU Scalp'ocalypse of 2021 when I won a spot in a newegg shuffle. I wanted to get a 3070 but this is what was in the cards for me I guess. So, for the MSRP of a 3070 I found myself with a nice rugged over-engineered 3060 made by ASUS TUF. I know the reputation of TUF products and I'm confident that this card is built to their standards. Unfortunately my unit has some minor but noticeable coil whine compared to other cards I've owned (the only exception being some MSI card I had back in college, that thing was like living with bats in my bedroom). My second gripe is that I was more or less forced to buy some random PSU that I didn't need when purchasing just because it was the only offer I was given after trying for months to get my ... MoreI bought this mid-way through the GPU Scalp'ocalypse of 2021 when I won a spot in a newegg shuffle. Great performance for the money
12 September 2022

The ASUS 3060 TUF is a fantastic card for the price. At a fraction of the cost of some of the stronger cards, but still with comparable performance, it's hard to go wrong. It is however a large card so be prepared with a gpu support bracket to protect your motherboard. Besides that one issue it really is a solid card!

It fits in the H210!

This card looks great in my opinion. The RTX 3060 from Nvidia is a really great entry-level graphics card that supports Ray Tracing and DLSS. Both new technologies are used to improve game play in a lot of supported game titles. This card is really good and I use it in my personal system. It works great with no issues. I installed the necessary Nvidia Game Ready drivers from Geforce Experience and was ready to go. The 3060 was enough for my gaming needs and also can live stream quite nice. I am very satisfied with my purchase, and I am happy to have had the chance to buy this card. I know this shortage is bad, and it took me 5 months of trying, but I got it in the end. Don't give up, your chance will come soon.

Just what you need and want

Very good card for gaming and work. Asus being the first to lower prices in response to tariff adjustments. Picked it up as it fit within my budget. Performance for my 240hz 1080P monitor is fantastic. High refresh all the way without issues. Card runs full tilt at roughly 64 degrees in my case and I cant really say anything bad about it. I do not do RGB and this really only has a small logo that lights up with the TUF logo. Dual BIOS enables performance and quiet option but in performance I really don't hear much so run with that. The subtle nature of the lighting is welcome to me. the size is chunky for sure and as such the cooling performance with noise floor is fantastic. Just buy it and move on.

Sealed box, brand new card, works fast out of box. Fans are more quiet at max speed than my other card that sounded like starting up a jet engine. Temps don't rise over 50c so far, my other card was 70 to 80c 1060 6gb. Red dead 2 90 to 100 frames with the correct setting tweaked with ultra textures, everything ultra is 50 to 60 frames but still cooled card. Love these new cards.

Pretty much an all black Strix

It's a 3060, and it sure as heck has the performance to back it up. Mine boosts to a fairly stable OC at 2k Mhz, but I keep it at around 1950 Mhz just to be safe. Regardless, a 3060 can pretty much crush most games without having to boost that high in the first place. It can handle 1440p gaming at pretty much maxed graphics and still get really good frames. I've tried playing DS3, Apex, Valo, and Genshin (with RTX Reshade) with no problems. The cooler is high quality. It's all metal with a brushed aluminum finish on the shroud. As for RGB, the TUF logo and the strip on the face of the card are made up of 4 individually controllable LEDS that you can configure in Armory Crate (ugh), ICUE (with the plugin), or Signal RGB. I would never intentionally drop this thing, but I'm pretty sure it can take a hit. Also, if you're planning on using a vertical mount like I am, I've run the card straight on the motherboard at gen 4.0 for about a month, and I've noticed 0 performance losses after mounting it on a gen 3.0 riser around a week ago. All in all, if you were rocking a $100 DVI only Rx580 like I was for the past 4 years, you will have literally 0 complaints after upgrading.

The RTX 3060 is exactly what I wanted in the Newegg Shuffle
13 November 2021

I was absolutely blessed with the opportunity to buy this at its MSRP during a Newegg Shuffle, after entering the event frequently for over six months. I actually would have liked a single fan version of the RTX 3060, as a triple fan version is a bit overkill for the GPU on this card, but you don't say no to the opportunity to buy a video card these days, and the TUF Gaming model looks great. I partnered it with an ageing, but still solid Ryzen 7 2700X and 32GB of DDR4-3200 RAM, and it delivers excellent framerates at 1440p on most video games. So far I've played games like Diablo 2: Resurrected, Cyberpunk 2077, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and Battlefield 5 with satisfactory experiences. I have an ASUS ROG Strix motherboard and matching it up with an ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 3060 graphics card definitely felt right. The small amount of RGB on the card looks neat too. While the ASUS TUF Gaming series is a quality product line up, ROG and ROG Strix are generally higher on totem pole at ASUS. I'm sure its mostly just brand / product segmentation, but just something to think about for your build. If you get the chance to buy the card at its MSRP, just do it, because you might not have another chance for six months.
