The Dual RTX4070 white is a amazing card, It looks really good in my setup. The card is a big upgrade from my 3060.
No problems unpacking and installing it. One slight concern I had was the red light that comes on to indicate it's powered while the computer is off but still connected to the mains. Of course, I thought that indicated a faulty connection, so I spent a bit of time fiddling with the connectors, to no avail, until I turned the computer on and realised, when the red light went off, that it's just the GPU's way of letting me know it's in its resting state. I confirmed this via Copilot and the internet.(A green light would have been a bit less disconcerting, as I've had other Asus GPUs (the RTX 3070 Ti) that turns on a red light when there IS a problem with the connection.)
Very happy with this card. I got it when I still had an i59600k with 32gb of DDR4 ram and I saw such a difference when I got this card.
Look: beautiful and sleek. Love the design and coloring.Noise: fans are high quality, even at high RPMs they are not bad at all. I have a low noise build and it fits right in.Cooling: no issues at all in my NZXT flow H6, stays around 66-68C at all times even under load.Coil whine: this is where I give it only 4 stars. The coil whine is noticeable. It has definitely improved after about 60 hours of use, but still an annoyance.Overall: 4070 super lives up to the specs, in fact this overclocked version helps my system beat the average metrics for a 4070S.I can recommend you buy this!
I ordered the 4070 super white edition from Asus uk store and it is a great card. I paired it with a new proart 27" display as colour accuracy is important for me and this card delivers. Runs 1440p 144hz smooth as butter. Wouldn't have considered the white card as it was more expensive, but it was reduced by £50 so went for it. Very pleased with my purchase. I placed the order after midnight on the Monday and it arrived Wednesday which was an added bonus.
I love it. It looks amazing in my case, and it runs excellently. My motherboard is ASUS as well and I'm such a fan of their products.
I upgraded from an MSI 1070 that I got in 2016. So far,I'm gobsmacked at the massive uplift in FPS and can now enable Ray tracing.I was a bit wary using a old (but gold rated) 650W psu, but using the provided adapter for 2 8 pins to the 12HPWVR connector and double checking everything was connected snug and securely. So far it's running like a dream, solid 120FPS in FF7R and 145-160 in Witcher 3 (RT enabled) at 1440P.Here's hoping this will last me 8 years as well.
i’ve never experienced so many issues with a GPU. agree installation, i couldn’t stream anything on Discord anymore, but i could stream on Twitch? I specifically had issues streaming my Discord or Google Chrome, but had issues streaming anything as well. my screen would freeze and i would go into extreme lag. While gaming with this GPU, my keyboard would constantly disconnect, my mic would disconnect every few minuets and i would constantly have to reset it, and my mouse would also disconnect. I experienced so much lag in game. I now have this GPU sitting in its original box because i had to replace it with my old GPU. I would rather game on an older GPU than have to experience what i did while using this 4070.
