I bought this for my first PC build. Everything worked out well, so I'm very happy. Paired this with an ASUS TUF 4070 Ti. Big fan of ASUS products.

I've heard some negative things about ASUS lately, but I've always had a great experience with them, so I stuck with them for my motherboard. Was looking for a solid option for a 7800X3D, so I got the 650+. Installation of the motherboard itself was simple, and installing all the components was simple as well. I like the all black look with the silver heat spreaders. It was nice theres one included for the VRAM and SSD. I had no issues getting it set up, booted perfectly the first time. I think my only complain is it boots really slowly. But I dont really care about that, I only boot my computer up from completely off rarely. I had zero issues getting DOCP to work, and the UI of the BIOS is great. Haven't had a single issue. I have heard ASUS has made major changes to their RMA protocols, so I'm cautiously confident if I have an issue, they'll deal with it in a good way in 2024.Recommended to all, so far I have no reason to give it any less than five stars.

Good motherboard. Could be even better.

Would like it even better if had diagnostic LEDs. Had one of the new Ryzen 8700Gs. Still did not expect the motherboard to power on but do nothing, not even beep codes first time. CPU fan came on and had RAM with LEDs that lit up. Fortunately, flashback worked to update to the latest bios, and then everything worked. As with most, Thunderbolt option is overpriced.

Lots of problems, lack of features for price
26 June 2023

Wanted a basic motherboard for a homelab project and Asus is my usual goto hardware manufacturers, but will avoid any of the "Prime" series in future. Issues from PCIE cards that work on other older motherboards and compatible with the M/B specs are not detected. M/B just went dead and no working lights to indicate the issue. BIOS Flashback doesn't seem to work at all, the light just stays on and no indication if anything is happing. Either spend the money on the TUF/ROG series or switch to ASROCK but avoid the Prime at all cost.

Review of ASUS PRIME B650-PLUS AM5 Motherboard
24 December 2023

A very decent b650 am5 motherboard for the price. Been working flawlessly for a month with 7600x CPU and 4060 GPU.A few minor downsides:Bad vrams so board temperature will be high if using more powerful CPU with CPU intensive tasks but certainly okay for a 7600x.Detached io shield.Only one m2 heatsink provided so don't forget to buy another for the second m2 drive.

[Rewarded Review] The graphic Card is not working
12 May 2023

I have 2 displays, and I had to buy an external graphic card because the dedicated graphic card does not allow me to connect a second display. This is an affordable motherboard for AMD5, and because I have a Ryzen 9, was cheaper to do so.Do not recommend it.

just finished building this computer and the net card died for some reason and now will not connect to the internet. I've tried so many things some multiple times with no luck. never had this happen before. I built two comps at the same time and the second without a single hiccup, however it has a higher grade board. iv learned my lesson not to skimp on the mother board.
