This is a perfectly serviceable case, and a solid upgrade from the original travel case they released for the Ally. It’s a bit more bulky than the case that comes with the steam deck, but has a decent amount of storage for additional accessories and sd cards. The build is good overall, but the zipper is a bit stiff and gets stuck at the corners, needs a little time to wear in a loosen up.Many likely will not care for how bulky the case is, but I like it just fine, it’s not perfect, but it gets the job done, his room for my charger dock, cable, wireless ear buds, and more.

It’s a great improvement from the original travel case. I really like the liquid resistance and hard shell design versus the original soft shell. The new travel hard case has more compartments for carrying the adapter. Highly recommended this new travel hard case.

It’s a good premium case, but the zipper is a little rough to open and close. I wish there were two zippers instead of just one. Also still not a fan of putting the ally X in upside down like the last case, it really doesn’t make sense.
