My friends in Discord say I sound so crisp. We have been friends for over 5 years and I have gone through many headsets including Alienware and this Delta White set is not only the most comfortable headset ever. But it’s brilliant in design, color, clarity on both ends and music in Spotify and World of Warcraft sound spectacular. The ambience in game is epic. I can hear every movement, foot steps, bug sounds, animal grunts and even agro movement's and alarms before they even get to me. I am so happy with my ASUS laptop and headphones. I’m saving up for a mouse next. Thank you so much y’all!

Legit product. At first, I experienced constant disconnection of Bluetooth with this cetra. But after doing a firmware update, all things runs smoothly now. You should always use your brain first before you open your mouth and do complaining all day. But unfortunately, just to be fair for those non-techy people. Asus should have addressed this issue before they released this product.Asus needs to improve their AB Testing of their products before they make it available to the public.

In my case the pros far outweighed the cons so I decided to stick with it. The audio is just so good that I didn't mind the shortcomings of the microphone. This is a good one Asus! Hopefully you guys can make it GREAT! Just a few more tweaks! I'll be using these for as long as they work!

Decent enough headphones for quite a lot of money
7 February 2023

I was on the lookout for a new pair of headphones or a decent enough headset to replace my JBL LIVE 400BT (and a regular much lower quality 50BT before that) ones where the protein leather on the ear cups of those (sadly non replaceable) started to cake and peel off after 2 years of normal wear combined with fluctuating temperatures (I live in sunny SoCal as that’s to be expected!) and it also being on the mid range in terms of quality for what you could typically expect from JBL that is owned by Harman-Kardon and by Samsung who is in fact the parent company of them. I ended up checking ASUS once more out of my mere curiosity to see what they had and for what I could say I think I found something that is a bit nearly as close to what I’m looking for for a gaming ... MoreI was on the lookout for a new pair of headphones or a decent enough headset to replace my JBL LIVE 400BT (and a regular much lower quality 50BT before that) ones where the protein leather on the ear cups of those (sadly non replaceable) started to cake and peel off after 2 years of normal wear combined with fluctuating temperatures (I live in sunny SoCal as that’s to be expected!) and it also being on the mid range in terms of quality for what you could typically expect from JBL that is owned by Harman-Kardon and by Samsung who is in fact the parent company of them. I ended up checking ASUS once more out of my mere curiosity to see what they had and for what I could say I think I found something that is a bit nearly as close to what I’m looking for for a gaming headset or pair of headphones that I might like- the ASUS ROG Fusion II 500 and I had to get one for myself to play around with for a bit to see if I really like it after being tempted to want to see one of these in person myself. I also realized that I was in fact a little late to the party on getting one of these since ASUS had likely removed it from sale on their website, but thankfully Walmart that I ordered from along with Amazon, B&H and several others still had some new old stock of them that they might’ve been slowly trying to get rid of mainly for the 300 model that is still in production but with slightly less features that the 500 happens to have- and that is the much more granular voice chat features for Discord and TeamSpeak. On first impression after taking it out of the neatly packed box that I always have to give extra kudos to ASUS for doing such a wonderful job on (there moving onwards to an incredible future as they say!), it still looks like a pretty decent enough pair of headphones given how it looks so chunky and bulky looking at the same time. The build quality although with lots of plastic (given how most headphones are typically made out of!) feels just like my previous 2 pairs of JBL headphones that I had (and many more over the years I had before that since I in fact mostly had a bunch of Sony headphones over the years and many more mid to low quality ones before that too) but for the factor that the top headband is protein leather instead of mesh like the JBL ones I had, it does in fact feel slightly more comfortable when worn along the top of my head for extended periods of time and it also feels slightly a bit more comfortable than what JBL has to offer although kinda hard to tell by myself personally. The protein leather on the ear cushions still feels like it is slightly much better quality and a tiny bit more comfortable than JBL, although I suspect that after 2 years time that this will in fact start to cake and peel off while having to be replaced with another set of protein leather cushions (either from ASUS or aftermarket with someone else) or the rather interesting ROG hybrid cushions (both a mix of mesh and protein leather) that come in the box. Also the fit is pretty decent too give how it fits quite snugly with a slight bit of clamping force along any sized head give how my head is a bit of a coconut to contend with! Even the paracord cables for both the 3.5mm and USB audio cables are really good quality too even with the USB-A to USB-C converter being the smallest that I’ve seen bundled with any device that doesn’t get too in your way unlike other converters that I’ve dealt with (like my SanDisk Extreme portable SSD that has a much longer converter) too!Now I need to go onto the actual features themselves. The sound quality and Aura lighting features on here are what put this headset into the spotlight with many others that I’ve seen that could try to do the same thing, with the virtual 7.1 surround sound (it is NOT certified Dolby Atmos, DTS or the such so don’t get confused over that one thinking that it is even as ASUS has made a near perfect implementation themselves that will work incredibly well with them!) being the major star of the show that makes these even more immersive. It does take some time to get use to all the audio controls and various presets if you are an audio nerd like me in Armory Crate but they are still simple enough to understand for anyone to easily get a gripe on.And now onto the bad that I really don’t like about this headset in the first place. As soon as I got it, I was unfortunately way too quick to look at it some more right when I was ordering this thinking that it would also contain Bluetooth connectivity right out of the box with the 3.5mm and USB connections already built in but sadly that is not the case yet until that hopefully would come with the Fusion III series enters production one day (take note of this ASUS!) since it would be nice to have given that some people like myself who still have to deal with a pesky iPhone (not too much with the iPad since that is going to USB-C now but the iPhone that’s a bit uncertain since that might support it or go completely portless since that is typical Apple…) that still has Apple’s infamously proprietary Lightning cable and would not want to have to deal with any more in the world of dongles just to get it all working. To make matters worse when it comes to audio despite it being all perfect, it doesn’t work well with most devices over the 3.5mm cable (like a small portable wind up Eton NOAA weather radio I have just for emergencies or would causally listen to at times) as it plays very softly with how much power the ASUS Essence drivers take often requiring you to turn the volume up to the maximum that the device it is plugged into supports to barley hear it or by plugging it into an external amplifier to be able to get a decent enough audio signal sent into it. As with Armoury Crate and the firmware being a bit buggy, it unfortunately makes a very subpar experience as from my latest testing as the presets and sliders would not work at times, the audio suddenly cuts out or starts occasionally clipping to even the reverb at times going way out of control (nice for some but it could get annoying rather quickly) beyond what I could set and to make matters worse the higher quality audio would be mixed up on both the regular and voice channels making you have to constantly switch back and forth between them. Also when any ASUS laptop (like my 2021 ASUS TUF GAMING F17) or desktop it is plugged into is asleep, the lights don’t fully shut off or sync well with other Aura devices that have that functionality, which I was still quite surprised to see happen. Even despite all of these problems, the headset is still kinda expensive at around $180 which is still kinda a shock given that this is a decent headset that really shouldn’t have an over premium price tag attached to it but it’s ROG and NOT TUF GAMING so I can’t complain as the old saying goes- you get what you pay for!Bottom line- the ROG Fusion II 500 and probably the rest of the Fusion series and other ASUS headsets are pretty mediocre right now mainly when it comes down to Armory Crate and buggy firmware ruining it all but other than that ASUS is still trying there hardest to try to make a really good gaming headset that’ll work well with any gamer and I think that they are still on track to making really good headsets despite still needing MAJOR room for improvements down the road. I might consider returning these and getting my money back eventually as I’m still on the lookout for a better headset that is a bit more reliable- and of course supports Bluetooth. For anyone looking for one of these like I did, I would personally wait for the Fusion III before diving into any headsets from ASUS as it’s not completely there yet or look elsewhere for something better. You won’t regret it!

Great Product with a few more tweaks

This is an excellent product. Except for one thing which is why I gave it a three. I have a lot of trouble in controlling the volume. When I go to swipe up to turn it up, it goes up so loud it almost bust my ear drum. An no mater how fast I swipe down it take forever for me to do so, just, right to get it to turn down. Or it is the opposite it is too low & I have trouble while swiping up in order to turn it up. An when I do, it is as I said above. (It gets too loud) If that could be fix with an optional volume button (or slider) that would be helpful. Other than this It is easy on my ears. Not too heavy and I like the fact that it is wireless. I wish it had a longer range. But it don't which was a little disappointing but I believe most others don't which is too ... MoreThis is an excellent product. Not too heavy and I like the fact that it is wireless. I wish it had a longer range. But it don't which was a little disappointing but I believe most others don't which is too bad. But is is very sleek, I like it's designed over all. I would have given this a five star if it wasn't for all the trouble I had with trying to swipe up and down to try to get the volume where I want it. Which watching some videos sometime their sound is low and you have to turn it up or they are too high and you have to turn it down. Which I had trouble doing it just right. If there was an indicator on the head set that is obvious for a person to see and feel to let them know if they are in the right position to use the swiping mechanism of the volume. But it takes me forever to get it right and most time I just have to turn down or up the volume on my computer and video. Which cause me to pause the video and go into my setting. (Which I have to do even to use the headset as it is. It wont come on automatically when you turn on the on button on the head set unless it go into sound and turn it on.) This is a really good product but for a old person like me I kind of need a sound button or slider or some type of visual indicator that lets me know that I am sliding up or down correctly. Like a red light or lines indicating up and green lines indicating going down. Your doing a good job an if you could find tune the two things I mention above then you will have a good product for all ages. Keep up the good work. Thank you

If you wish to hear what Angels whisper about....

Well spent money, about headphones themselves, they sound is weighty by well-balanced, with a warm and inviting tone. They're generous with the bass, but not overly so. The active noise cancellation is very strong too, mic is hidden ( plus for me , no any mic arm etc. ) , very comfy. Armoury Crate software is also a big bonus , from telling you battery level to sophisticated sound adjustments , great purchase. ASUS prove their excellence in design and performance again, highly recommended. Now is time to test ROG Throne Qi with wireless charging stand, can't wait when it will be available to buy, looks like they both meant to be together :)

Super comfy fit. I love the cloth covers
25 March 2024

Love the fit and finish of these. The Animated outer is a real attention grabber, but the comfort is amazing. my only "gripe" if any is the software. I had to uninstall and re install 2 times to get Armory crate to function without getting stuck loading. once I did get it running, the remaining set up was a breeze. I will leave another remark once I have more time with them, but so far, I really like them and I am happy with my purchase!

Unbelievable Sound Quality/Hi Fidelity/Comfortable

Unbelievable sound quality! The settings are so adjustable that the sound is unbelievably immersive. These headphones are the GOAT! Made my ears go GYATT my guy. I play with many streamers and we keep our sound quality and mics on lock. The microphone is unparalleled in quality. No artifacts, no noise from the cord: just pure, clean, ASMR-inspiring vocals. The AURA-sync feature is beautiful and it works well with my Armory Crate software (I will say that it took a week before Armory Crate updated with the audio settings, so be patient with the software for it to update, if needed). Works great. Heavy duty, and fits comfortably. The headset comes with extra ear cushions, but the default ones work great for me. Don't sleep on these: they are so banging that you will not be able to turn them all the way up! Four DACs in the headset is top-tier. Beautiful, sleek, hi fidelity and very comfortable. I use them with the USB extender that comes with. Do yourself a favor and upgrade your gaming experience by adding these ROG Delta S to your system: you won't regret it.

Underwhelming software and performance, 2 star.

I am not happy with my purchase. For 300 bucks you should be receiving some of the better performance cans on the market, there is plenty of higher performance options available for a lower price. I used them for less than 3 month and now they don't work any longer. I dint damage them, they doesn't fall of or have any damage on the wire. I just unplugged them, after 5 minutes plugged them again and surprisingly they didn't works, lights and sound.I'm super angry, I bought them with a super smile and my face and thinking that they were the best, now I have no money to buy other. Now I have a super problem because I'm in another country, where Asus do not want to take charge of the warranty, and the company where I bought them from in Australia, isn't responding my emails.I hope this is helpfully for someone who is thinking to buy this headset, trust me you don't want this problem, its better to not buy them <3
