Asus ROG Flow Z13 GZ301VU-DS94 Touchscreen Gaming Tablet

It is always a great experience to shop with XoticPC. I am a returning customer and this time I bought this excellent Windows Tablet with Gaming power on the Go. Even though it was just released and still out of stock on Asus Website, XoticPC delivered it to me within the promised time. It is always a great experience being a customer at XoticPC.The whole process took hardly 2 week and my new Gaming beast is already on its way home.Customer service is excellent and replies are always quick.

3 month review

This is a great hybrid, even though a tad too heavy to be used as a tablet. But even as a laptop replacement it outshines the Dells and HPs and for the price (got it on a deal and negotiated in the warranty), what it has included - keyboard, stylus, beats the Surfaces by a wide margin. The face id works like a charm and the simple games I play are handled well.The only issue I would say is the wake up feature after being connected on Thunderbolt. It doesn't want to but I guess that is just a BIOS update away.

Fast, great screen, huge upgrade from the 3050ti m

Insanely fast compared to the prior generation.Cyberpunk 2077, 1440p, medium settings, DLSS, hitting 70, 80 frames per second which is insane for a tablet.Fans can be a bit loud running in turbo mode, but performace mode is pretty chill. Only loses anout 10% of power in performance, so i feel turbo mode isnt worth it.

Good laptop hamstrung but terrible decisions

Laptop overall is pretty good, but using a USB C charger and then blocking all other chargers from running at full power even if they are capable of it is a massive disqualifier for this laptop, and I'm somewhat regretting my purchase. It also seems like they don't sell replacement chargers, at least not on their Australian webpage, making running it off power (which you need if you're doing anything strenuous) a pain as you'll need to constantly move the charger with you, rather than easily setting up multiple. Lack of HDMI/DP port means I'm going to have to buy a USB A to DP adapter and hope it works so I can run it on an external screen while plugged in to charge.I can't recommend this and would suggest others avoid.

Open Box Excellent Condition is trash.

Bestbuy again trying to pass things off as excellent condition. The product I recieved was used-decent at best. It looked like someone ate pizza and then used the laptop. Then slid it across a counter 52 times to scratch it up real nice, tossed it in a pile of dog hair, and repacked it for a return. Oh and they “forgot” to put the charger in the box. So I recieve this disgus ting mess and cant even check if it works because I dont have a charger. Now its my problem to get their garbage back to them.

Small review

Do you like the Microsoft Surface? Do you like gaming? If you answered yes than this is a product is for you! It's small, portable, and powerful but that power comes at a cost...the battery. The life of the battery is something that could be better but it's a trade off for the portablility and power. So you most likely won't be going anywhere without the charger, that being said, the charger is a 100W if you need a replacement.Nice and sleek, very gamer (which all the gamerification can be modified and turned off), beautiful.

Surface's Size with Alian's Performance

a powerful all-purpose computer in a compact 13-inch tablet form factor. In fact, it's significantly more powerful in this 2023 update than the previous generation, and offers a display that's better suited for everyday use, creative work, and gaming. Just make sure the format is right for you, and that the middling battery life suffices your needs. Well built and compact for what it is. Good keyboard folio and typing experience. Excellently balanced QHD+ display. Notably more powerful than the previous generation with demanding loads and games. Good thermals and quiet fans.

Terrible, crashes constantly

Really sad because I wanted this to be good but it just crashes and restarts whenever I try to play a game (the whole reason I bought this). Just a complete failure of a device, I don't know what ROG were thinking. Can't possibly recommend it, I spent several hours after I opened it doing driver updates, etc and it still crashes and reboots just trying to play a very popular game (Valorant) which should most definitely be working on a "gaming PC" as it's very well-known and should have been tested with this hardware. Would strongly prefer to just get something else but not sure B&H will even take it back (only had it for one day and have yet to be able to get it to function). Total beast of a machine.

The laptop is just awesome, very light but very powerful. Never lagged a game, and productive work is just smooth like butter. I use it with my 2 external monitor, and never shows any jitter. Battery performance is also very good when doing office work.

Surface Pro VS ROG z13.For the price, the Z13 is the better choice if you're looking for a Surface Pro or tablet-like unit. The Z13 comes with its own keyboard at no extra cost, no pen (same for surface pro), i9 processor (not available on surface pro), 1gb storage at 5150 read speed (you can also get it for the surface pro for $250 more) and the display on the Z13 is impressive.Can you game on this thing, yes but for the price I would just get a gaming laptop instead. Gaming is a plus but I really needed a tablet or Surface Pro like unit for work. I have the Asus ROG Strix Scar G15 as my gaming laptop and gaming on the Z13 at low settings depending on the game, I am impressed too.
