Bought this card in preparation for 4K gaming. This card reminds me of the massive performance boost that I had with my EVGA 1080ti FTW3 few years back. Its very quite even at full load with 3.105Ghz OC'd using ASUS GPU Tweak. Never have I ever had this kind of gaming experience before. The 12VHPWR adapter (included) can be improved with a thinner and longer sleeved cable. I just wish that ASUS also included the angled connector to make it a cleaner looks. This card is very heavy and big in size. It almost as wide as my ASUS 360 Ryujin II so GPU sag stand (included) is needed for support. BTW: I still have all my kidneys...

Basically the title. This GPU is ludicrously expensive, but if you want the best then this is it. Constantly ranks top tier for overclockability (especially with the 600W power rating), cooling, 99th percentile FPS, etc. Beast of a card.I run it on the 450W Quiet BIOS on an 850W Corsair gold PSU and it works a treat. I've never heard any fan noise from it and the performance leaves nothing on the table, even on the 'lower power' BIOS. The 600W BIOS isn't something I've tried out, but I'm not sure an 850W PSU is enough for that so I'll probably leave it in quiet mode as the performance is more than good enough. It's nice to know, though, that a few years from now if it's starting to show its age I can get a better PSU and flick one switch for a few extra % in ... MoreBasically the title. It's nice to know, though, that a few years from now if it's starting to show its age I can get a better PSU and flick one switch for a few extra % in performance. This sort of purchase, unless you're minted (which I'm definitely not), doesn't make sense most of the time. I had a good offer on PayPal credit and had been looking to upgrade my GPU as my old card was really struggling at 4K. I'd already bought that card a year ago and lived to regret not getting the best I could afford, so this time around I went big. I don't expect to need to upgrade for at least 5 years now, if not longer than that. For gaming this card is stupidly powerful. I use Blender and edit 4K video a lot as well, and my previous card (a 3070) was hobbled by the 8GB of VRAM. With 24 gigs on here I have no such issues. For creative work this thing is even more of a monster than it is when gaming. All in all, this GPU is excellent. You have to be able to justify the price (which I did by getting an interest free credit offer and paying a decent chunk of it off immediately with savings), but if you can justify it and want the best, this really is it.P.S. this thing is MASSIVE so make sure your case has space. It's heavy, too - it comes with a support stand for a reason! Big beast of a card in every way possible, really, including price.

Great Card
27 April 2023

This is the best graphics card I’ve owned and the performance coming from the Strix RTX 2080 Ti is night and day. Frame Generation is currently seen as a bit of a gimmick due to the small category of games that it is currently available in, but I think it’s a great improvement which makes this monstrous card, that already crushes anything at 4k native, even more powerful. The difference in visuals when using frame generation is unnoticeable when actually gaming, unless you’re sat looking for the differences. There’s added latency when using FG but I would personally only use it for single player games anyway, as you want the lowest latency possible in competitive online games. The 12VHPWR cable was a concern when I originally purchased this card, so I decided to ... MoreThis is the best graphics card I’ve owned and the performance coming from the Strix RTX 2080 Ti is night and day. There’s added latency when using FG but I would personally only use it for single player games anyway, as you want the lowest latency possible in competitive online games. The 12VHPWR cable was a concern when I originally purchased this card, so I decided to get an ATX 3.0 PCI-E gen 5 compliant PSU which comes with a native 12VHPWR cable so that I didn’t have to use the one provided by Nvidia. If you do decide to use the cable they provide; make sure you hear the click. This card is also the best of the bunch made by Nvidia board partners due to its 600W power limit, allowing for more manual overclocking headroom.Overall, I would personally recommend this GPU to anyone that has the money to spend on it. Especially since the value proposition of the RTX 4080 in comparison to the RTX 4090 is non-existent.Pros• Great heat dissipation due to vapour chamber.• Aesthetically pleasing.• 600W power limit for manual OC.• Extra HDMI port.• Build quality.Cons• Price• 12VHPWR adapter provided by Nvidia can cause melting or fire.• Slight coil whine but some have reported very high pitch and annoying coil whine.• Size of the card.

Great Card, Happy Customer
17 April 2023

I've had the card in use for about 4 months now, replacing 2x 1080 in SLI. The performance increase is incredible, and I've had no issues whatsoever with anything that I've thrown at it.Whilst I'd measured it up to make sure it would physically fit in my case, I wasn't quite prepared for just how massive it is... A support is definitely needed to stop it sagging, and fortunately there's one in the box that doubles as a screwdriver - beautiful bit of kit, but depending on your case it may not be long enough...It had some coil whine issues to start with, but they seem to have subsided over the months after buying it - partly why I waited to write the review.

Great product, ridiculous price!
20 December 2022

There is nothing bad to say about the actual GPU, it is a powerhouse that will last years. The price on the other hand, please do not buy this if you are on a budget, you will get amazing performance from a much cheaper card. I went from a 980 to this, after 6+ years of not upgrading, and have struggled to find games that max it out. Even at 1440p 144hz with 3 monitors running. Expected a 4k upgrade next year might change that.

PHENOMENAL CARD FROM ASUS

Putting the cost to one side, as we all know GPU's are bonkers expensive at the moment. The card is huge and comes with a GPU support tool to stop it sagging at the back end, make sure your case is big enough to accomodate the card or you'll kick yourself. I ditched the supplied power cable in favour of buying a PSU specific 12VHPWR cable, which removed a mass of cabble bulk form the side of the GPU, also make sure you have a PSU that has enough power to support the card. The LED lighting on the card is minimal and looks good with only the 'Republic of gamers' text and the rear of the card having LED's and it blends in well with any LED Eco system you may have.Using the Performance utility provided by Nvidia the card will clock to 3025 MHz and pulled 503 Watts, ... MorePutting the cost to one side, as we all know GPU's are bonkers expensive at the moment. The card is huge and comes with a GPU support tool to stop it sagging at the back end, make sure your case is big enough to accomodate the card or you'll kick yourself. TOP CARD
6 February 2023

I will start with a bit of a complaint as I've seen this card on preorder for 2399 for a long time.I didn't want to buy it in case it was in stock on another site, but when they did get it, they put the price up by 90 quid in a matter of days. So I had to buy it for more once I've seen it in stock... I hope the quality of service in case of trouble with the card will be as good as the money I've paid for it.Now, to the point.Upgraded from 2080TI Aorus Xtreme. I think it's about 130% more efficient than my old card. The card is just amazing. Some games on Ultra won't even use GPU fully and the temperature is crazy low. It won't go over 50°C. This is easily the very best gpu they have madeit’s between 70 and 90% faster then the strix 3090 OCThe best thing it is run. cooler abd uses less power overall.the only thing that spoils it is the stupid positioning of the power plug and the priceThere just isn’t any value in it sadly in this current financial climate and i’d like to see it half the price frankly.
