This is one of the best mini itx boards you can buy. I love rog and the looks are clean (not the biggest fan of rgb)One thing I feel like the hive is a bit gimmicky since I mostly just don’t have it connected or else for audio but else I agree that it’s hard to see the lights on mini itx board but most of the time it’s just a pain that I don’t have any debugging lights whatsoever so I’m forced to connect this ugly gamer looking thing sadly but else you can leave it away. The board has enough ports already.Pair great with my r9 7950x3dAlso a plus is there are Ekwb blocks for this board which I intend on using

Overall motherboard is OK. Nice sound card which was very important for me. Many people saying the 30mm FANs are very loud. It is true and not a true... Firstly I want to buy model B650E-i , but because I waited for it almost 50 days... and still ETA was not confirmed I give up and go to buy this one X670E-I in promo for 430. The fans are loud because You have slow boot , because motherboard doing a self test... memory , cpu , vga etc. and when is done , then the rpm goes down. The minus is this motherboard have 2 fans not just one... If You will install it to ITX case with future 65W models or 7600X with ecomode, propably You will don't need or almost don't need any fan on VRM section. But here You have one more for NVMe disc. One more to make noise or stop working ... MoreOverall motherboard is OK. Nice sound card which was very important for me. Many people saying the 30mm FANs are very loud. It is true and not a true... One more to make noise or stop working in future. That is a risk.. and because it is 30mm is harder to buy a replacement. About RAM, if You have non EXPO ram it's gonna start straight buy on low speed, if You will in bios swap it as I for my profile 1.35v 6000mhz it will also start even if is not supported official. But when You will swap bios it will be hard to get correct boot system. Remember to go down to defaults before bios updates. If You forget try go down to first bios revision and them up to latest. When You finish set RAM on correctly voltage and speed from profile. Overall I think more popular will be B650E-I which have everything what we need and is much more cheap, got 1 fan less and tbh that pilot is not such much needed. This sound card 4050 with DAC SABRE hmmm giving me same enjoy which SupremeFX 1220.. so I am gonna guess sound card from B650E-I also will be good with 4080 realtek. Back to motherboard.. my 7600X is boosting 5450mhz-5475mhz in single core cinebench and around 4950-5050 in multi core depend how you will set up fans flow in case. In gaming overall is 5400mhz. I am overall very happy but , better will be to buy cheaper B650E-I and safe 130 pounds and put it into better GPU or CPU. No issue and no complain. When system is loaded in Windows and games You will not hear this 30mm fans (just only for few second around 10 on start). Hope I helped someone to make decision.. The wired pilot is a plus for someone who need it, power section 110A X670E-I vs 70A B650E-I but it make effection only in top cpu models in my opinion, there is 2x USB-C Gen 4 (not 3.2 like on B650E-I) and from my perspective no more difference. NVMe shield is much higher here then on B650 so consider it before buy. I make this purchase because I was tired to wait for B650e... And want to get 100% PC for Christmas time so I pay extra to make sure it will be done.

Takes literally minutes to initiate boot and sometimes doesn't even manage to proceed. Even after BIOS update it's still not worth of a product that has been validated to production especially with such a price tag. For linux users please note that the Wifi module cannot work as of today.
While the price is too high the motherboard performs very well and comes with premium features. However, it also comes with a small add-on card which contains the OC switches, the cmos reset as well as the sata drive ports. As a mini-ITX board the way this addon card mounts on the main board limits a lot the builds. Anything placed behind the motherboard (power source, water cooling pump or reservoir) would make it very difficult to plug anything into the card. The NR200P Max case is an example of case quite challenging to mount into (not impossible).
