The motherboard or mainboard is the component that connects all the different parts of your computer. Often it has some integrated components like a sound card, enabling your computer to play sound, or a network card, to connect your computer to the network. The standard form factor (size) for motherboards is ATX, you need at least a midi-tower to fit one of those in. Micro-ATX motherboards are often more complete and have more onboard devices, like a video board and fit in smaller cases, but are generally less expandable.

Got the cheapest deal from CCL. It was my first purchase from CCL. The product arrived without any damage and the delivery time was less, around 2 days. The motherboard works really well; you can't go wrong with Asus z690 motherboards. It's small and fits my SFF (NR200P) case really well. Happy with my purchase from CCL. Anyone looking to buy from CCL, go for it without any doubt.

Firstly, I was lucky enough to be able to buy it as everywhere else it was out of stock. Secondly, this board is really great. Has all the features you need for 12900K or any 12 gen system, plus also it has DDR5 support. Yes there is shortages but if you buy a fast DDR5(6000MHz+), your system will be mega fast and so is mine. I used only 1 pcie nvme SSD, but it's 2TB so it's plenty There's 2 slots total. The fan on VRM is ok, not loud. I wish there was none tho. Can't comment on the wifi 6, as I use cable connection. The only downside of the board is the lack of Q-Code display thus giving it 9/10. I do hope asus will make Z690 Mini-itx Impact motherboard with the q-code support so I will switch to that one then. Overall, very happy with the board:)

Probably the best MiniITX option for Intel LGA 1700 (12th/13th gen), considering the audio weirdness introduced by Asus on the Z790 version. Great performance, great connectivity! PS: Be careful with the fit of your AIO / cooler, the heatsinks are quite close around the CPU socket. My NZXT Z63 only barely fit, and required removing and re-sitting the SSD daughterboard.
This is a great motherboard with lots of features and whatnot, but there's a few things that really disappoint me about it, especially for £400. Due to the huge VRM heatsink and M.2 daughter board, you are really limited with cooler compatibility. It also uses another daughter board for front IO, internal speaker and SATA which looks awful and gets in the way. It also only has one USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 which isn't ideal but workable. Other than that, it's decent enough.
This board is tiny but don't let that fool you! It is seriously packed with features, proper thunderbolt ports, DDR5, GEN5 PCIEx, and this was the combo for my 12700k. I have been mulling over which board to go for and for me, this had everything I needed, it did take me a while to decide as some boards don't have optical out and some did but then I needed to decide whether to go for DDR4 or DDR5 as DDR4 was more avail and cheaper but in the end I went with this, although a bit expensive but what the heck. I got the board and boy I am not regretting splashing out on it. Just go for it if you building your next SFFPC, don't dither!
