I've had Asus ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM for 24 hours and I've spent more than 8 of them troubleshooting it. I've updated the firmware to MCM103 (the latest), I've updated Nvidia GPU drivers (531.61 the latest) with a clean install 8 times. It randomly errors out and Nvidia-failsafe mode turns on locking it into an unusable 600p 60hz. In monitor firmware MCM101 it locked down every time I turned on HDR in win11 or every time a game with HDR turned on. In firmware version MCM103 it locks down inconsistently when I turn on and of the monitor, or HDR is turned on in WIN11. Clean installing NVIDIA drivers cleared it out in both firmware's. Turning the monitor on and off sometimes clears it out in MCM103. I am furious at this monitor, and don't recommend it to anyone until ... Lucky to wake up this morning to find this is in stock, this monitor is insane. Colors are amazing. Screen is bright. The matte finish doesnt bother me at all i actually prefer it. The stand and chasis all look amazing. Coming from 4k to 1440p oled i really dont notice much of a difference. The only thing is reading text looks a little funny but i only use this to play games and watch videos.

The monitor is overall very bright in sdr which is the reason i gave it four stars. However the hdr is so bad i never used it. The colours looked so dull and muted in hdr it defeated the purpose of this monitor which I ended up returning it. Also once you take the screen peel off, the colours will be a little less vibrant and not as sharp as with it on. If this monitor had solid hdr, i would of kept it but for such a high price tag its not acceptable. It rarely got hot even with brightness at 100 percent. If you don’t care about hdr then i would recommend it or go with the lg over this.

What more can I really say. I got it, I love it. I own the LG C2 also and I wanted to get an OLED gaming monitor that's 240hz in the 1440P Range. This Asus was it. Everything I own is ASUS for the Motherboard being the ASUS Crosshair Extreme X670E, ASUS ROG Strix 4090 OC. Now this monitor. I previously had issues with ASUS and QC for other IPS Monitors that I've owned and I don't have a dead pixel with this. Even with the Matte Finish, it's still nice and vibrant with amazing contrast ratio like OLED should be. It's about 98% of what a Glossy Finish would be and to be honest I'll take that cause even with a light on the colors punch through! Refresh Rate, Response Time, Resolution, and let's be honest! It's amazing.
