The router increased the range significantly. The internet speed increased and overall a very good purchase. The only downside is that it can't be hung.

Great router, improved download speeds by 4X in some parts of the house compared to the ziggo router. Setup took 5 mins. Same web interface as the more expensive Asus routers so I can set up port forwarding and other features. I could have bought a more fancy router... but can't think of any reason to.

Wasn't too sure which wifi 6 router (preffered way of connecting my quest 2 wirelessly via remote desktop) to go for, but plumbed for the Asus, as I have had items from that particular brand before that have performed well, and been well supported. It was easier than expected to set up (my virgin hub 3 which has had all sorts of WiFi issues since day 1, was put into modem only mode). I plugged it into my router, turned both on (hub 3 and Asus router) and waited 5mins. Everything then connected and worked well (only the router can be connected to the virgin hub 3.0 in this configuration, none of the other LAN sockets on the hub 3.0 can be used). Everything else works as it did with my hub 3, but far more stable, no disconnects, and better signal strength/coverage. I've noticed no difference with my wired devices, which is expected. Very happy with my purchase so far.
I have bought one, wifi coverage wasn't good..then I bought 2 more thinking ok..maybe walls are too trick etc. Now with 3 routers and after 6 months of trial & error, fw updates, I still don't have stable and reliable internet. Tried different settings, made the DHCP on another router.. no.. it's just not reliable. One big piece of junk. I need to reset every 1-2 weeks. Devices are being randomly disconnected without any reason. Totally waste of money and they are not cheap. I'll never buy ASUS again. That was my experience!

Pros: 0Cons: Delivered? I didn't get any after a few weeks (delivery for 1-2 days? really??)
RT-AX55 is a great router for its money. Good variant for AiMesh system extension.
It turned out, 2.4GHz wifi from my 2-node AiMesh setup doesn't reach well to the entrance-facing camera. This was the cheapest AiMesh router to extend 2.4GHz network while using the 5GHz as a backhaul.I didn't need super-speeds or so, so can't tell anything about that, but the whole 3-node AiMesh system works reliably in the end.
works much better than the router I received from my internet service provider
