Calling ASUS support can be a total waste of time. It took multiple calls, waiting on hold for 30-45 minutes at a time before getting disconnected. The dongle did not automatically download the driver when installed (as stated it would). Finally made it thru to support after over 2 hours on hold or making more calls after multiple disconnections. The tech support person was able to guide me to download the driver.... only to get disconnected yet again.I called back early the next morning and got right thru to a tech support person quickly. Happy Ending after all…. I’ve never had Bluetooth on my old laptop(Windows 7). So here I go. After following the directions. No Love. Oops, this item doesn’t work with Windows 7… Nowhere did I see that prior to ordering from the listing…. It should be stated as it is advertised as backward compatible…. Anyhow, a search engine look see and I found the older drivers for this exact product that DO SUPPORT windows 7. I’m not extremely tech savvy, but got her going. Synced up both AirPods and Powerbeats and all works well. If you search engine search consider typing “ Asus USB-BT500 windows 7”. A long winded video that pops up will help, then further down the page, older drivers that work for Windows 7. Been working solid ever since the installation. So all is well. Peace.

This product was very easy to install. With everything changing , a lot of my installed PCIE Bluetooth and WiFi cards could not keep up. I really wanted something very easy and for the price, this was perfect. It comes with instructions on how to disable your active things installed in your desk top or PC. The computer identifies and with mine , it just installed what it needed to on its own. It was working in seconds. Now I can enjoy mulitiple connections without interruptions or lost signals. I have my PC mounted with my USB torwards the back wall , so I installed this is my USB hub that was closer to my devices in my office. I originally wanted to get an updated PCIE but this does an amazing job and it’s ASUS in which is a staple in my home.

This does work to connect AirPod (pros) to a PlayStation 5, so for that reason I highly recommend. It does take a little bit of figuring out once you get it. It took me almost 15-20 mins to figure out just how to get it connected, but once I did, it’s simple. It doesn’t connect automatically, so each time you want to play on console, you have to reconnect it unless you don’t use your earbuds for anything else. If you connect it to your console and don’t use it on anything else they stay connect. Sound quality and noise canceling on earbuds isn’t affected which is great too.
