Dr Asustor helps protect your data from a variety of threats, including but not limited to ransomware attacks, and performs checks based on current system status, settings and connectivity. After performing these checks, Dr Asustor diagnoses any problems and offers you appropriate recommendations. If the system volume is 100% utilised, system performance and stability may decrease. ADM strengthens the management and monitoring of system storage utilisation to keep your NAS stable and fast. When utilisation rates approach 95%, in addition to other stability measures in ADM, Snapshot Center adds an option that prevents storage space from being fully consumed. This deletes older, unlocked volume snapshots to preserve data integrity and maintain system stability. ADM supports SMB 2.0/3.0, which reduces the traffic load on the NAS while providing higher capacity for data transfers. In the Asustor test environment, SMB 2.0/3.0 was found to increase Windows network performance by 30-50%. In addition, SMB 2.0/3.0 significantly increases the number of concurrent Windows client connections and simultaneously open files, making ADM even more suitable for large-scale Microsoft network environments. File Explorer is pre-installed so that you can browse and manage your files on the NAS. The programme displays all directories and files on your storage volumes.
