ATEM Power 12V 300W Folding Solar Panel Blanket

If you are a frequent-traveller, you must know how critical it is to have a flexible power source with you. And this is where the ATEM POWER foldable solar panel comes into play. Made from poly/cotton canvas, this 300W solar blanket can be packed down to 1/6 of its full size and weighs only 10kg, which makes it ideal for camping, RVing, and most outdoor activities. And all cables are terminated with Anderson plugs for easy and secure connection.A-grade monocrystalline solar cells feature energy conversion efficiency of 23.5% for an efficient power output when your electronic device drains. This solar blanket features auto-optimization function for immediate reconnection when sunlight returns after charging interruption, and comes with a lithium compatible MPPT controller which can adjust the voltage to get a boost of current during times of peak demand and helps you get 20% more energy than a PWM controller. With ATEM POWER, you are full equipped to rediscover the fun of off-road.

The 300W Atem Solar Blanket looks well made, looks and feels nice. Comes with a 20A Controller which I didn't use, alligator clicks and Anderson plugs as well as a decent length cable. All packs away neatly into the bag.Had a brief chance to test these today, 1:30pm in March we had a good burst of sun so I took some calculations from the Renogy 20A Rover Charge Controller. 18V @ 13.2A = 237W (Panel specs are: 18.2V @ 16.5A = 300WEarlier in the morning at around 9:30am full sun produced - 18V @ 8.86A = 159WBased on the above I don't feel confident I'll ever see the rated 300W that these panels are supposed to put out. The first 300w blanket I received was defective and only pushing around 4.6A equating to about 120W. I got in touch with Vicoffroad and Bob was fast to offer a replacement or a refund, I opted for the replacement. The new blanket arrived and I tested straight away good sun no clouds not optimal position for the blanket flat on the ground and it was producing 9.7 of the claimed 11( this is always measured in perfect conditions for all panels and blankets) so I'm absolutely happy at around 240W for the money spent. An ethical company to deal with that take customers satisfaction seriously. Bob thank you.

Absolutely brilliant product and great

Absolutely brilliant product and great value for money. I used to stress about my camper trailer batteries with a 250w fixed panel. But after upgrading to the 300w solar blanket with MPPT controller, that stress is gone, I just used it over two days which were mostly overcast and it kept my batteries topped up for the entire trip. When I had a sunny day I was getting readings above 14v, something I never achieved before. The small pack up of the blanket has worked well for our limited storage space.I've recommended it to all my camping mates

Awesome robust 300w portable panel.
15 April 2023

So far, so good! I’m impressed! 😀I’m using it to run an inverter to charge tool batteries on job sites where there is no power available and that’s definitely a time saver! It’s easy to set up and packs away neatly and feels really robust.Only wish it had a voltage display on the charge controller instead of just L.ED’s.I just sit it on the roof of my car and the cord length is plenty to reach the car battery. Get one, you’ll be glad you did.Stuart. East Bentleigh Victoria.

Bought 300W Atem Solar blanket… never more than 80W output
12 January 2023

I’m currently sitting on a blistering no cloud day, my battery is down to 50% capacity and the maximum output I can get after changing every angle to maximise watts is less than 80W. To say that I’m disappointed is an understatement! I see no reason why the blanket is performing so poorly. It’s less than 9 months old.

Great Folding Solar Panel

Great product that works as described. Did also purchase a Renogy Voyager controller to replace the one with the unit as this improves control & provides quality digital interface. This combination works well together.

Happy with delivery and description
21 May 2023

Happy with delivery and description of product. A little disappointed with the output of the matt. Tested the product multiple times on a sunny day midday and only achieved 180w However, I have come to expect this as all my other solar panels never achieve their stated outputs.

Not 300w
5 December 2021

Placed on a board angled at 25 degrees facing north at mid day in early December. Plugged directly into my enerdrive MPPT controller i was only getting 12amps output. My battery was low and was in a bulk / absorption stage of its charge cycle accepting 14.4v.14.4v x 12.0A = 172.8WIts common knowledge that most cheap solar blankets on the market operate at half their rated output, and the 300w atem power solar blanket is no exception. If you buy this just beware that it wont produce more than 200w

Not true to label (but not surprised)
20 November 2023

The promise of 300W was ambitious and the delivery was as expected (not at that level).I would respect these online sales a lot more if the items lived up to the stated ratings . The power delivered by the unit was not at the level advertised however the unit is mostly sufficient to my needs.
