Great boot. Extremely comfortable right out of the box and breaks in quickly. Perfect amount of flex for skiing with family and escaping to hit the bumps and glades for a bit.

Awful! Very Misleading 120 Flex and Cheap Strap

First the good - These boots are the lightest and most laterally responsive boots I have ever skied. The are incredibly quick with amazing snow feel and ski great on blue groomers. They are almost the best boots I've ever skied but...Now the BAD- 120 flex is a ridiculous overstatement! I've coming off Fischer (120 & 130 flex) boots and Rossignol (120 flex) boots where I had to remove rear spine bolts to soften the flex. This boot's stiffness is not even in the same ball park as those others. Essentially it's a great beginner or intermediate boot but not anywhere near the "strong flex" which I'm quoting from this boot's official description. As soon as I get off a groomer and ski medium bumps or choppy snow where I need to drive the ski these boots colipase in the ... MoreFirst the good - These boots are the lightest and most laterally responsive boots I have ever skied. Ugh! It's so frustrating to ski a high end boot with premium price tag only to find I overpaid for a recreational boot. In fact I've stopped skiing them because that lousy flex has caused me back problems which don't occur in my older boots. It goes to show that there's a price to be paid both at the store and on the mountain for boot's significant weight loss. For reference I'm a life long expert skier weighing 173 lbs. Maybe the plastic on these boots didn't cure correctly and my pair is defective. However I don't know how I can back up that claim for warranty. Also I can't believe the boot designers at Atomic were ok with so badly and intentionally mislabeling the flex rating.

Can't fit these ski shoes properly

I bought these ski boots almost 1 year ago, I went skiing with them only a couple of times (around 10-15 times) and right now I can tell you, that I am never buying any Atomic shoes again. They were flawless from the day 1, I felt like my skiing improved just by wearing these boots, but since then, I felt that they were getting softer every time I worn them. My foot is 103mm wide (these are supposed to be 100mm wide) but my feet is sliding in them, and I cant do turns properly. Also, I can feel that there is so much space between the ski boots and my insteps (which was not there before). I tried to fill them up with the Sidas 5mm volume reducer, but it did not make it any better (to be honest, it did make a difference, only for 1 day, then it became pretty much the ... MoreI bought these ski boots almost 1 year ago, I went skiing with them only a couple of times (around 10-15 times) and right now I can tell you, that I am never buying any Atomic shoes again. Really dissapointed, I spent so much money for these boots, and for me (a student who lives alone) it feels like I just thrown the money in the trash, because I am not really able to buy a new boots every year. When I saw these boots, I told myself that I am gonna buy them and keep using them for atleast 7-10 years.Unfortunatelly, it does not seems so. Also, there is nothing I can do, because the retailer I bought them from wont give me my money back, so bad luck I guess.I was really satisfied with your products, I had only Atomic boots before, also I am skiing on Redster S7 and Redster X9s, I was huge fan of your brand.

Every foot has at least one boot that fits well...
1 May 2023

....and this boot happens to be mine. The fit feels like a super firm memory foam; all areas of the foot seem to have nearly the same pressure. The size was perfect - toes lightly touching until flexed. The flex adjustment works very well (Atomic actually provides the bolts required to add stiffness). The angle adjustment is little tricky when setting a 12 degree (? whatever the min angle is, per spec) as you have to add a spacer. Atomic provides the spoilers for smaller calves and even a spacer plank (goes between the boot shell and bottom of the liner) when the liner packs out enough to warrant. With the right fit, these are very responsive. Excellent job Atomic.

Good boot but stiffeness does not last long
11 February 2021

This is my second pair of atomic boots and I'm really disappointed with how quickly the material lose its stiffeness. After 2,5 seasons and about 70 skiing days on them I can't feel 120 flex anymore. I took the boots for fitting that improved the situation a bit but now again I can fell the boots super soft and I would say that flex has came down to about 80-90.It's a pity because when new is a very good boot but it doesn't last long. I was thinking about buying now Hawx Prime 130s but I will most probably look for something in another brand.

Good performance and comfortable

Love the boots. You can heat mold the liners if preferred or can keep as is and they are still comfortable. I have taken them down the slopes a few days and they felt good from day 1.

Great boot as comfortable as a slipper.
20 March 2024

I used them 7 days this season with only a minor break-in period. I played with socks for the best fit. They have a stiffer flex than my old boot, but I could adapt quickly. They had great adjustments and were so comfortable I hated to take them off at the end of the day. My feet were ward even as other people I skiied with complained of cold toes in 10- 25 degrees. I loved them!

Great fit. Light weight, needs instructions
11 February 2021

I’m switching to these from a pair of Burner 120s that had too much forward lean for my senior legs. I’m looking forward to the fit and light weight of these Hawk.Unfortunately the tiny user manual is not very detailed. I’m hoping to get some clearer instructions on how to adjust flex and forward lean angle. I would prefer to do it myself- Do I need to get the shop involved?

Love my new boots!
7 January 2024

First day out in these today. Switched from 6 yr old Rosignol All Seed 130. Better comfort and warmth. Skied great in them. No sacrifice in performance from my previous slightly stiffer boot.

Soft inner boot
11 May 2024

Very good thight fit for my feets. Got some help to adjust them to provide better comfort/fit.The inner boot get quite soft when skiing. Need to reduce 2-3 snap on bucklets to get good stability. So buy a very thigh boot as the buckles are fix and can not be adjusted.
