#525 flawless. Simple instructions, easy setup. It's clearly one of AT best effort to date in a fully manual turntable. Pardon the pun......

This turntable is a pleasure to use. Straightforward with no bells or whistles, it performs nicely and aesthetically it’s flat out beautiful. I moved from a 70’s Dual 704 direct drive with a Shure cartridge to this one with no regrets. The trusty Dual serves as my backup. $1200 is not unreasonable for this turntable given the build quality which is exceptional! Mine is 514/3000. Will D

The record player is visually stunning! I cant take my eyes off it. Although, I really feel I dont know enough about set ups. etc. If you could give me any advice or let me know what I could do to get the optimal sound from my player/speakers it would be greatly appreciated!!
I had maybe a dozen or more turntables throughout my life and this was the most beautiful one. Also, it has a very nice packaging. That being said, don't be fooled by how it looks. It's an ok turntable, but everything except the acrylic is average to poor quality. The tonearm I'm quite sure it's the same one you find in the AT-LPW50BT. If you're here for a piece of furniture, this is the one. If you are here because you're looking for a hi-fi product, you're much better off with a Pro-ject Debut Pro or X1, a Rega P3, a used Linn LP12, or even buying a AT LP120 with a Denon 103 cartridge. They might be in a different league, but you can even add a nice Hana cartridge if you buy a LP120 and still be under the retail price of the AT LP2022. I love clear things. Name a clear thing, and I will love it. I have been collecting and using clear things like clear Pepsi, see-through showers, clear sinks, see-through phone and TV. So needless to say when my friend told me of this clear record player I bought some clear records and plunged all the money I had to buy it. I get it at my front steps and the second I get it out of its box I can BARELY see it. While I could see it I put my signature Weird Al slip mat on it so I could always locate the platter. Even when I played my first record on it I could barely see the switches on it to even press play. And don't even talk to me about the set up. All the wires it came with were also clear so I had trouble with them too. Overall I will be sure to use this anytime ... MoreI love clear things. Name a clear thing, and I will love it. Outstanding in all aspects, the only small gripe is the cueing could be better when it lowers the arm. Packaging was over and above, so would make a great gift. With the spare stylus it's hard to go wrong at the price. I'm guessing you either love or hate the styling, personally I love it and have my stack next to the window so it acts as a sun catcher refracting the light.
Just received it. Wow, it looks much better than the pictures. It's actually hard to believe how well this turntable is made. The quality of the shipping was the top notch too. It was packed like a $5k turntable, and I think my friends will believe I paid at least that much unless I disclose the price. I haven't given it a serious listen yet, but I will update my review after a couple weeks of time with it.
Review from a long time AT affecionada. Received my new LP2022 just after Christmas. It spins records as designed and way better than I expected with both of the supplied styli. It's also way prettier than the pictures show it to be. Absolutely love this deck. Highly impressed as is everyone who sees it in person. I am really proud to have it. Purely functional and aesthetically beautiful audio art. Excellent work. I've added my 80's AT155 cart with a modern line contact needle and lightened HS4 shell, which woke it up even further. Now it's like being reacquainted with an old friend. Thanks Audio Technica and Guitar Center. God bless. Ed
