I am very happy with the Audio Technica LP60X Standard Belt Drive Turntable w/ Built In Preamp (Gun Metal). I did have a slight issue with the output connecting cord to my very old BOSE Lifestyle system but have today purchased a new cord and all is now OK. I particularly like the LIFT button which ensures that I don't bump (drop) the pickup arm when changing discs. Performance is great and I have missed the "Old" sound. Glad I still have my collection of 60's, 70's and 80's LP's and still in very good condition. John R

As indicated in my rating Audio Technica is good value for money. The base from my Richard Allen 12inch speakers does not seem as good as I remember but that may not have anything to do with the turntable and stylus installed with it.
The design is simple and fits well with the lounge room. Sound is amazing when hooked up to a good sound system. Being new to vinyl you can definitely here the difference in sound quality compared to a CD or when streaming to the same sound system with the same settings. Pay the money its reasonable for what you get, but I warn you if you dont have a good sound hookup then youre gonna have a bad time

Good for starters, probably in a small room with small speakers is okay.Too much Bass production. This turntable isnt designed for RIAA. Its very basic for its price. Other people might love it instead.
Audiophiles will decry belt-drive and techophiles will decry the simple audio out (no BT or the like). But if you have some old vinyl to listen to and an existing stereo with a spare set of RCA inputs, this is perfect. Audio Technica still know how to make decent audio equipment.
