Lovely clear and crisp sound with AT's typical very neutral out-of-box EQ that will have a lot of consumers cry 'ThEy HaVe nO BaSs!'. The low-latency mode works half decently and the optional wired use mode works perfectly, granting a lot of versatility.I've never gotten the battery bellow about half with only very casual occasional top ups and quite heavy use.Worst parts are a tight fit at maximum extension (creating pressure on the outer ear meat) and the general shortcomings of Bluetooth in general.

PROS: Sounds good; great battery lifeCONS: *Very* tight-fitting, if I could have tried them on first or had known that the degree of ear-cup tilt was so very narrow, I'd not have bought them.As it is, I've handed them off to a friend with a narrower head shape, as I wear glasses and the immense pressure from the insufficiently angled ear cups has actually bruised the tops of my ears.Honestly, all it would have taken was a product tester with a rounder skull and glasses to go "hang on a minute" for this issue to be addressed. I've been wearing the headphones while writing this review, and I've had to remove them as in order to not damage my ears, they're sitting slightly forward almost on my cheekbones and giving me a headache.

Great quality for reasonable price.

Super happy with these earphone. Extremely good quality sound for the price and they have really long battery life which has been an issue with other brands I've used in the past. I like the option of using either cable or Bluetooth which gives a lot of freedom. These really drown out the sound of my annoying coworkers so would highly recommend! 😊😊

Love for multiple use, 3 years of ownership
30 August 2024

Product: Navy blue and tan colorway. My go to headphones for 3 years! My favorite feature is having both bluetooth connectivity and aux cord because I alternate between my phone/tablet and I also have an old ipod nano I use once in a while that I can only connect to with aux. Also came in handy for travel: when I was flying and they have those screens for streaming movies that you can only use aux for.Note on fitting: these are more similar to on-the-ear headphones (which is exactly what I was looking for because they fit my head more naturally) so if you are looking for smaller-over the ear headphones these are perfect and not too bulky.

Not for me
19 February 2023

Ordered online and picked up in store, exchanged them 3 hours later after trying them outNormally I don't talk about packaging, but the box was confusing to open. I know it wasn't just me because the cashier had the same struggles when they checked it during the exchangeThe headband is comfortable and the earpieces were well padded. However, I found them to be too small. They don't surround the ear, which led to them putting awkward pressure on my ears. Adjusting the headband helped somewhat but I couldn't find a happy spot for themSound quality was flat and thin. Tried a few different apps and genres to test it out. Not something I could clear up with settings. I didn't use the calling functionsOverall, they seemed well made and I'm sure there's a market ... MoreOrdered online and picked up in store, exchanged them 3 hours later after trying them outNormally I don't talk about packaging, but the box was confusing to open. If you think you'll like them, I highly suggest trying them in store if you can and comparing them to others. My money ultimately went to the Raycon Everyday over ears, they're well worth the price difference (especially if they go on sale)

Pretty average.

Love the brand. Had a set of plug in ones for years. The noise cancellation was sensational. The sound sound was perfect. My ex had a set amd some friends. New phone doesn't have a jack so got these wireless ones. Noise cancellation isn't very good at all. Sound is pretty average. Limited volume as well.

Price matches quality imo

I bought these after returning some beautiful but crappy-sounding House of Marley headphones, and love almost everything about them.Pros:- very lightweight, I also like that it doesn't touch the rest of my head that much in comparison with over-ear headphones- good clamping force, feels very secure- sound quality is good, I would rate it an 8.5 or 9/10 but I'm not an audiophile- I like that the power on button is not a 'switch', previous pair of headphones had this problem where both the 'off' and 'on' position would turn the unit on after 3 years. Hopefully this won't happen with this designCons:- The swivel joint WILL pull your hair out if it's not that short and you put the headphones around your neck. My previous pair of AT headphones also had the same issue because of them having the same swivel design- the clamping force being so strong does make it a bit uncomfortable on my ears/head but I feel like this should dissipate with time

Terrible sound quality for the price

Terrible sound quality for the price. Given the ATH M50x models are outstanding I was hoping these would be better than they are for the price. These emphasise the mid range well beyond what they should. Overall very disappointed in the sound quality. I would not buy again or recommend these to anyone. Go for Sony at this price range or the higher end models from the brand.
