I’ve used this for recording to replace my condenser mic which picks up a lot of noise. I don’t have a proper studio setup so I needed something that will only focus picking up my voice for recording songs and this does the job well. I love that I can hear my voice via the 3.5mm jack but the downside is I can’t completely turn it off if I want to enable monitoring from software.The XLR functionality is a plus but I almost never used it because the quality using it for live performance isn’t as good as other live mics.Overall, very good microphone and highly recommended for those who are in noisy environments.

This is an excellent microphone with superior clarity and above average audio quality. It was fast and simple to set up and only took minutes to be ready to use. Overall very easy to figure out. The sound is really great and provides consistently reliable projection. I haven't used thid microphone for very long but it was instantly obvious that it is better than other brands that I have tried. It seems very durable and I anticipate it being a long lasting product. I would definitely recommend this microphone to anyone looking to up the quality of their podcasts and audio recording.

Media creator here. I have mics with better audio and other with better performance sin specific cases but I always have this mic in my camera/video bag because it just works no matter what. Peace of mind is priceless and this thing will work no matter the format, no matter the device. It has all 3 main types of connections and you can adjust the volume on the mic itself. If i need to record some voice audio for interviews or even just letting the DJ borrow a mic for the decks this thing will work and the audio is really good for how cheap it is. Def a must have bomb proof mic for media creators.

At your fingertips you are able to control the volume which is nice additional locations available for different set-ups. The stand is a little difficult to get in and out which can be chalked up as either good or bad depending on how much it would be used. The radio interference is quite minimal in regards to my other setup which is nice. I just only wish it came with the 6.35mm hookup although I can get adapters for this change it would be an all in one if I didn't have to do that. I would like to also see a travel bag for mobility I am all about organization and labels. However not a big deal. This microphone has a great, crisp sound. Easy to install. Mostly plug and pkay if you have a sound platform already. Beginners could absolutely hook this up and get it going quickly.The downfall is that it had this humming, slightly static-sounding buzz. The sound came from the pc recognizing it as 2 mics due to the headphone jack built into the microphone. Once I muted that in the control panel, I didn't have the humming or buzzing sound any longer. The biggest complaint I have is the flimsy, poorly constructed desk stand for this mic.
This microphone is great for several applications. It's marketed as a podcast/radio microphone, but it still works great singing through as well. I've used it for both applications and it has a wide dynamic range. I was impressed with the quality of this product, on par with Shure's SM58's. The options for direct aux plug in and usb connection really make this mic versatile and have a wide range of applications. I like that I can plug directly into my computer for recording on ableton and the ability to record for podcasts as well. Definitely a mic to grab if you want to use for a variety of applications. The volume knob is a nice addition too if you want to control it right from the mic.

I'd suggest keeping it on a stand in a shock mount, although the mic body is tad on the thick side, so finding a suitable one might be a problem. When you have both a USB cable and headphone cord plugged in while the mic is in use it's hard to get to the headphone volume control that's on the mic in between those connections. But you can control your monitor volume from your computer, so that's not so much of a problem. And finally, the stand adapter doesn't have the usual threaded metal insert inside, and where the adapter threads onto the desktop stand is also plastic, so those parts might wear out quickly. I'm using a quick disconnect fitting on both the mic adapter and the stand so I don't have to worry about that.Other than those few criticisms, this is the mic you need to sound good online. And that doesn't mean it's not suitable for other uses, such as recording.I received this as part of a free sample program.
Over all this mic will just work. Doesnt matter the device or format the mic will work. It doesnt have the most out of this world audio quality(still good for the price) but thats not what you buy this mic for. As a media creator this is the mic that will always be in my bag because i know it will just work. Whether i need to do some quick interview or record some audio or even if the DJ at the event needs a mic to use on the decks this mic works and thats the massive value in it. It just works and peace of mind is worth alot for highly booked professionals specially if you work events where you go into situations not always knowing what the layout is and what type of spaces you will be in but still have to produce.
In the past, I've been using an old school microphone that gets the job done, but sounds terrible lol. This was the upgrade that I needed. I like how they give you multiple plug in options. From the little that I have recorded so far, it sounded phenomenal, super crisp and clean with very little static. Personally I would prefer a better quality stand, but so far no issue. It's a good buy. I would recommend especially if you're still using an old school mic like I was lol
