The Audio-Technica ATW-1101 Body Pack Wireless System 10 Digital 2.4GHz has been put to use in a live theatre setting and is delivering quality clear sound and reliable performance. The battery life so far has proved to not be brilliant with alkaline batteries needing to be changed after 2 hours (interval). There is a trick to ensure that the receiver and belt pack are linked and it is important to turn the belt pack on before the base unit to ensure synchronisation. I have had to power down the unit at least once during sound check to re-establish the connection.The belt pack is well made and robust but the switch is easily bumped by the players and has to be taped to avoid accidental putting on mute.Overall this unit is good value for money and I am running two ...
