B1 Bluetooth audio receiver is fantastic! I bought it so I could use it with a iPad-controlled digital mixer, and have a 2nd iPad, playing music, sitting next to me, across the room from the mixer. At a recent event, I tried the B1 out for size (small size; BIG sound!) and was streaming music from an iPad to the B1, when a guest asked to play music from her phone. She connected instantly, and literally walked all around the large room, playing her tunes — the B1 has amazing range, and I never lost the signal. 5 stars!

Great product. Has allowed me to add Bluetooth to 2 vintage systems without Bluetooth, and one system that has it, but The Bluetooth is broken, and now I have 3 systems with Bluetooth, for less money that it would have cost me to repair the integrated amp that has Bluetooth.Very easy to set up, and the sound is very clear and precise. Very happy with this purchase.

Honestly, I NEVER thought this little magic box (B1 Bluetooth Music Receiver) would work as well as it does and be as simple as it is to setup, which was why I bought a refurbished one - less money to lose when I shelf it and forget about it. Was I wrong!Seconds to set up and connect and the sound quality is identical to what I have gotten for many years from my beloved components that include McIntosh components & Sonus Faber speakers. My streaming play lists have now moved on up to the same house as my vinyl collection and sound so much better than they did being heard on those humdrum Bluetooth speakers. Worked like a charm right out of the box. USB cable for power, hooked up with a fiber cable (not included) to an older Logitech Z-5500 for Bluetooth connectivity. No apps needed, paired my iPhone to the B1 via Bluetooth, opened music and it worked as I hoped it would. Build quality is sturdy, this little box is solid, and it looks great, quality piece. Packaging was top notch and came with a fine microfiber sack just like the audio engine speakers come with.

This small receiver was a breeze to set up (< 5 min) and performed just as advertised. It enabled me to establish stable Bluetooth connections between both my turntable and my iPhone to an older RCA cable-based receiver (only one device can connect at a time but it is simple to switch between them). The range is ample (I can take my iPhone anywhere in the house without it losing the connection) and the sound is clean. I liked the product so much, I bought a second one. Well-worth the money!
This unit is a great unit ( mine is connected into Beolab 6000 speakers ( powered speakers )... Quality if doing is great, Chordette GEM Bluetooth ( not recent but outstanding ) has superior audio quality. The HUGE downside of the B1 BLUETOOTH MUSIC RECEIVER is the fact that it is OUT OF THE BIOX configured with probably highest output volume. That makes the YSER EXPERIENCE very not nearly impossible to listen to music at LOW volume. Audioengine, shall provide a way to configure the LEVEL of output volume of that device...
Compared this to multiple other units like this such as the blubdento blt-hd and found it way higher quality in every aspect of the sound field, most units like this suffer greatly from back ground noise and this is the first I have found which doesn't. The highs are beautifully crisp and clear and the lows and mids just sound right, not coloured up just how they should be. Now going to buy myself a second one as these are great.
I was looking for a way to add digital audio to my older amp / receiver. I decided to give the B1 a try. I worked well straight out of the box. I am streaming Audirvana and Tidal audio files, as well as Amazon Premium and iTunes music, directly to my amp. I don't have anything to compare this to, but it is sounding really good with no technical or connection problems. I am streaming bluetooth directly from a MacBook Pro.
