I have purchased this product on special when SCA had a big bottle sale. I wanted to add another soap to my 30+ shampoos that I have in my collection (I just like testing them). 1st thing is that this soap was not designed to be foamy, I have used 3X the amount in a 10L bucket (3x15ml or 3x cup fulls) and still the foam was about average. This is a great car shampoo and I won't use any cheaper offerings since I discovered this years ago. However, if you want to buy the even bigger one, beware, as the shampoo can deteriorate over time. I tend to clean my car once a fortnight and the previous larger size shampoo I bought became far less effective once I had used around two thirds of it. Hopefully, this slightly smaller offering will run out before that happens.

I got this about 3 weeks ago for a winter clean on my car. The foam was good and thick and the product went well onto the sponge. The finish on the car was good and it seemed to hold the sparkle for a good amount of time despite bad weather. It was steak free when combined with a good drying cloth. Little bit expensive/ higher end or what wanted to spend

Having tried more expensive and less expensive shampoos I seem to always return to autoglym’s product, especially when on offer as it delivers a great result for the cost per wash. I put a little in my wheels wash bucket, after I’ve sprayed each wheel with autoglym Magma and agitating the muck on the wheels and the shampoo effectively clears what’s left. I find after snow foaming my car is the best time to use the shampoo again (two bucket method of course). Be careful to wash/jetway the car clean afterwards as I find it all to easy to be left with water droplet stains on the car, especially in the sunny summer months.In conclusion this is a great product that also delivers on the value for money front too (smells nice and it’s neon yellow-green)!!
I have a brand new car and want to look after it the best I can. It works great this product. Yes it is a little more expensive but you only need a very small amount to do the job, I brought the previous week the Halfords car brush to attach to my hosepipe. And it really helps shift the dirt gently.
I have tried most car shampoos available, most are at best a compromise but not Autoglym. From the moment the sponge hits the water you can feel it's a quality product and it shifts road grime as you would expect. Although it isn't always possible to polish my pride and joy after a shampoo, the Autoglym still leaves the paintwork sparkling, unlike any other car shampoo I have ever tried. Sure there are cheaper products which claim to do the same job (they don't) but I won't be buying them.BGR

Overall it's about average when compared to over the counter products at SCA. Ok, for details. The 1 cup dilution to a bucket of 9L is not recommended if you want to get any cleaning done, I had to use 3 cups (each cup is 15ml) to roughly 12L bucket and while I got it to foam OK there was still no lubricity to the water. That scared me at first as it feels like you are washing with just water. Further testing revealed that at 45ml to 12-13L water the solution does have quite a good cleaning ability. That was surprising as there was no lubricity. The lack of lubricating components must allow for a super clean rinse. It was so easy that after washing the whole car it almost could pass as a rinsed car. In terms of finish, it leaves a tiny amount of gloss after wash but it's not even close to Armour All Wash and Wax (not too mention SCA pink wash and wax that leaves the car quite shiny). So I guess if you are after a summer, fortnightly wash and wax product that will not leave drying streaks (watch that SCA Pink stuff) with good cleaning power (just ease off pressure from the mitt as you don't have lubricity in your favour) give this a go, esp if you can find it on special. It's also safe on cars with LSP (eg sealants/waxes) as it will not strip them and the left over from the soap is only very minimal (small amount of gloss agents). Also if using in a foam gun, mix about 100ml to 500ml to get any foam, at 50ml to 500ml (1:10) it's quite runny and would dissipate in about 1-2 min. But again, this AG product is not designed to be super foamy.
Wasn't sure what I wanted as snow foam isn't an option for me where I live. Have tried a number of products from this brand with consistent and reliable results so took a shot and am glad. Loved the product, easy to use, and when incorporated in to a broader cleansing routine, the results have been simply wonderful!
Great to use, lasts well, cuts through grime and dirt associated with countryside driving.Just be sure to rinse off well, as it seems to attract dirt on the window rubbers.Best bit, there's loads of it. Makes much better value. Highly recommended
Have used this product regularly and find it great. It gives a streak free wash and mixes with water easily. It is not excessively foamy but does the jog of cleaning the car very well. This is a replacement from my last bottle. As always a quality product from a quality company.
