For years I've been cooking poached eggs in a pan of swirling boiling water but never liked the vinegar taste needed to hold the egg together. I finally bought this on my mother in law's recommendation and wish I had done this years ago! The product is sturdy/good weight and my poached eggs are cooked quickly and easily. Very easy to clean.

It is a good quality product and suitable for a single person. Just a pity that you can't buy the 20cm four egg insert with cups as a separate item.

followed the box instructions for cooking times and the poached eggs were absolutely flawless. nice rich yellow runny yolks with firm whites. can't ask for anything better. also, pan, egg cups and lid seem from good, sturdy materials, well made. very happy with my purchase.

Effective and handy egg poacher. Cups non stick, but a little bit of spray oil or butter ensure non stick.Works well for quick poached eggs without the hassle.Only negative is pan a little bit lightweight and handles on egg cups are hot to touch
You can’t buy a better egg poacher. I had a similar one aluminium with plastic cups years ago. Stainless steel much better. You get the quality you pay for. Definitely worth it.
The egg poachers have a good Teflon thickness which require little or no oil/butter coating to steam. I've cooked two lots of 6 in a row, without having to add oil and they pop out easiest with a small spatula. The cups take the large sizes eggs. I am conserving the Teflon by soaking a bit first and then using a soft sponge to clean out. The pan has a sturdy enough hand, a thick glass lid and by itself is a good enough size to use for a stir fry. I definitely recommend this product. Shipping was also prompt. Thanks!
The poacher has a couple of design features that others we have owned have not. The egg containers are made of metal rather than plastic so if you happen to not put enough water in they wont be destroyed. The second positive design element is the deep dish ie the eggs are suspended higher above the water than other models. I think that this poacher should last a long time.
This poacher is easy to use, and eggs poach quickly. I have to do some soft and some hard in my family and this poacher makes that easy to do. Eggs slip out easily when cooked and all goes in the dishwasher. Fabulous!
Ohhhh we love this egg poacher. It's so much easier to make sure you have soft yokes with an egg poacher than boiling eggs which is so hit and miss. The eggs never stick, it takes just 5 minutes to have yummy poached eggs. Great service and great product! I highly recommend it this poacher.
We have been looking for a domestic egg poacher which DOES NOT have non stick coatings on the food surfaces for a long time. So we are very happy to have this well made, lovely poacher.
