A Nice Cuppa

I bought this product as a Christmas present for my neighbour as I knew she wanted one. I chose this particular product for its size, aestheticism and practicality. My neighbour was totally delighted with it.

Avanti Glass Teapot

it is an excellent product in thought out design where the infuser is fitted inside the top mount under the lid. This means the infuser cannot fall into the teapot like some other brands. This allows quick and easy removal of used tea leaves. Makes two mugs of tea perfectly brewed each time.

Avanti tea pot with strainer

Love this teapot as I can also use tea leaves as well as bags if the strainer is removed. The strainer is not part of the pot permanently as most other brands are.

Deceptive labelling

This is a nice teapot, but the manufacturer's labelling is deceptive. The only way 750 mL will fit in it is without the lid and overflowing. It comfortably holds 550 mL - just over 2 cups, rather than 4.

Good for stewing bush tea

This Avanti teapot has a stainless steel infuser, and the collar that supports the infuser is also stainless steel. The stainless steel lid fits into the collar. The lid, collar and infuser all separate easily for cleaning, and even with large hands, it is easy to get ones hand into the pot to clean out tea leaves and tannins.The teapot is great for boiling bush tea on a low flame on a gas stove - you can see when the brew has enough strength.

Great design, works a treat

Beautiful tea pot, only good experiences using it. Looks great, very easy to clean and take care of, and fits three cups of tea easily. Infuser works great and tea distributes through tea evenly. Would have bought the bigger one if I could decide again, but I'm still very happy with this one. It's the perfect one-man-teapot for someone like me who drinks a lot of tea on my own. The bigger size would definitely suit a social tea drinker better!

Perfect 2 cup

Definitely a 2 cup not 4, but I knew that before purchase. Doesn’t drip at all which is a pet hate of mine with other teapots. Good sized handle for man hands. Solid infuser with a lifting handle (which can get in the way when filling with tea leaves but I just push it down). Overall excellent teapot.

Perfect Tea Pot

I find Avanti products consistently good quality and suitable for purpose. Its more than a "teapot" however, its a pleasing item in my kitchen. We use it to make "sun tea" - cold brewed teas prepared by placing the filled teapot inaa sunny window. Just perfect!

perfect size, breaks very easily.

Bought for making rose tea so I could see the depth of colour when brewing. Perfect for that. No problem if only rinsed out with clear water and left to stand, broke on drying. I am used to fine glass and handle carefully so was surprised when it broke under the very slight pressure of twisting a tea-towel inside [no hand pressure].
