Parts don’t fit together terribly well so difficult to use and there is a lot of discolouration in the cheese when shredded. Looks like metal? Grey in colour.

I have wanted one of these graters for years. It is the best item I have purchased this year. Easy to use and clean.

Fun item. This was a gift for my husband and our family loves it. Its much safer for the kids than using a regular grater, and they love the "restaurant" feel of having parmesan at the table. Great gadget!

Product is loose and barrel not very secure when using. Cheese falls out both ends of grater and is quite messy to use. Generally disappointing

Avanti Grater

I hate grating normally as I grate e tool when using a box grater. This little beauty not only grates hard cheese but chocolate (no messy melted bits) nuts ( easy to hold)and any other firm foods including vegetables. Easy to use and clean. Well engineered using sturdy construction. Be kind to your friends and give them one as a present.

My New Best Friend!

I love, love, love this grater. I had one years ago but have not been able to find another one until I came across this one at Kitchen Warehouse. It's strong and works quickly and easilly. I love it! Would highly recommend to anyone who spends time in the kitchen.

This grater is the greatest

I have had one of these graters for over 40 years. Alas, during a move, part was misplaced, thus the purchase of a new one. I wouldn't be without it and recommend this item to anyone looking for a grater that produces a very fine grated hard cheese. Quality is good, and it is sturdy. There are several "cheaper" versions on the market, but remember - you get what you pay for. This one is good value for money. Buy it, you'll love it.

Very happy

This was to replace two graters (one we liked, which broke, and its replacement, which was rubbish). It is easy to clean, and does a great job of grating cheddar (which is what we were after - too many graters can't cope with softer cheeses). Also, being s/steel it is nice & sturdy. Very happy with the purchase - and like everyone else I wish it came with extra attachments! :D

well made

This replaces my very old and much used Mouli grater. This one is well made and seems durable. The grater could be a bit sharper - it takes a bit of effort to grate parmesan.
