Aveda products have been a stable in my skincare and hair routine for years now. I don't think I've ever tried any of their products and not love. I like that this creme is Silicone free , Vegan and also free from Mineral Oil, Parabens, Silicone, and Synthetic Fragrance. Also very important for me that Aveda is a cruelty-free brand and they do not conduct animal testing . I use this styling come twice a week , I love how my hair looks it's not oily like some other products I have used in the past. It holds my hair very nicely for the whole day . I definitely recommend this amazing product

I have used Aveda products for many years. In the beginning, way back when I went to The Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, every single product was fabulous and of course smelled amazing. Something happened in more recent years that made me stop using their products. A different owner? In any case I'm glad I had the opportunity to try this because I really like it a lot. Complimentary from aveda. A little amount goes a long way. The best way that I found to use this styling cream for my hair is with low dryer brush. My hair felt smooth after blow drying it. But next day I still felt like I needed to apply nourishing hair oil or serum to make my hair look smoother. I didn't notice much difference in my hair while using Aveda styling cream. The scent was not to my liking either. But the good thing that it didn't linger on my hair for long time.
I was pleasantly surprised at how much of a difference this styling cream made to my hair. Even after one use, my hair felt so soft and smooth. It helped to calm my frizz and seemed to protect from damage when using heat tools. My hair is the epitome of "unmanageable" and usually takes a ton of time to style, but this cream makes my life so much easier. It's like a magic wand. I love that it's super lightweight and doesn't leave my hair feeling heavy or greasy. It just melts in and works it's magic. Plus, it smells so lovely and fresh.

I received this product complimentary for Aveda, and this is my honest review. I like that it doesn't have parabens and silicones, and that it is vegan. Because it is a bonding cream is helps repair damage hair specially if you have color treated or bleached hair. It made my hair feel hydrated and helped control frizz. It has a creamy consistency, not too runny and not too thick. The only thing I would mention is that because as its name states "botanical" it contains different seed oils and it does have a "herb" smell. I doesn't bother me, but if you are sensitive and prefer fragrance free product this might not be your best option.

This really provides that next level of control while staying completely soft and natural-looking. It helps hold simple style even just from blwodrying with a round brush, and that's enough to have a more "volumizing" effect than any fine-hair product I have ever used.
