It smells just alright. I was expecting something more soothing and less woodsy smelling. For me, its a little too masculine. I add some vanilla oil to it when I do use it to make it more pleasing. Pretty pricey as well. Would be nice to have a tester or sample pack to try before committing to a full size bottle.

Awful packaging change

Having bought this many times before, I was extremely disappointed to receive the one I bought online this month. It used to be in a qualitative glass bottle, but is now in a cheap plastic bottle. Just awful! Not only for the user, but also for the environment. The pump / Spray is nowhere near as good as it used to be and the new bottle is smaller even if it still says 100ml. What a shame to have cheapened an otherwise good product and I doubt I'll be buying it again.

Chakra 2 has enhanced our home hospice experience

I ordered Chakra 2 because it sounded interesting and I always have enjoyed Aveda's wonderful scents. I didn't expect it to make such a difference in our lives. My mother is in home hospice care and I am her caretaker. Among the "roses and thorns" everyday, the room can get stuffy (or suffer unpleasant odors). I spritz Chakra 2 at those times and it transforms the room and raises our spirits! Thank you for adding a bit of grace to our days!

If you don't like bug candles, you won't like this

This spray contains citronellol and it is very noticeable. I thought a little citronellol might make this a brighter/fresher smell, but it really did smell primarily like an outdoor candle. I ordered this and Chakra 3 and #3 was much better; it has that Aveda spa smell that I was looking for.

Just love this

This is such a wonderful smell, though it is expensive and can go through it really quickly, but it is one of my treats. Use it o me, on my bed or in the snug, for that wonderful full fragrance

Just what I was looking for

I've been looking for a natural perfume for a while, and was so excited to discover Aveda's Chakra Mists as I love the smell of their hair products (who doesn't?). I wasn't sure which to begin with especially since it's impossible to try them in stores, but ordered 2, 4 and 5 because I wanted something citrusy for summer. 4 and 5 are too piney for me (or rosemaryish, in the case of 5) and also don't seem to last long. 2 is beautifully rounded; the sandalwood gives it depth and warmth, the orange a citrusy freshness, and geranium a floral hint. I was worried from the reviews that it might smell too much like incense (sandalwood), but I find it well-balanced. Instead of giving me a sense of calm when doing my yoga, (as it claims) I felt like I was spraying myself with a can of Off to go hiking in the woods. My husband walked in the room after I sprayed it & said, "Ewww...What is that smell??? Did you spray bug spray in here?" It smells nothing like the wonderful aromas of every Aveda store that I've ever entered. Aveda really let me down on this one. I'm a huge fan of Aveda & their products. Spendy but worth it

Aveda products are notoriously expensive, but I believe Chakra 2 is worth it. This product is not new to me. I first purchased it at a salon/spa about two years ago... that's how long it lasted. A little spritz goes a long way. I also use it in my own essential oil mix to create different scents for myself. It's good on it's own or with oils, and it reminds me of a nice, relaxing massage. I recommend it but, as I stated, expect to pay. I think you'll come to know it's worth it, as I did.

This smells amazing!!

I have been wanting to buy a Chakra for awhile and I find it difficult with all the mixed reviews on them to know how it'll smell on myself! This smells so nice.....like Aveda. Not "perfumy", or flowery or like bug spray which was a comment on other types of theses. I love it. I don't think the scent lasts long but will buy it again.

Wonderul relaxing scent!

I love this Aveda scent! I'm on my 2nd bottle and about to order my 3rd. Lovely, relaxing scent that lingers for a long time. I find myself spraying when I get out of the shower or just before bed. I also spray this on my pillows and bed before sleep and find it very soothing and grounding. My fiancé also doesn't mind and actually likes the smell of this Chakra which is great since he has very sensitive skin and can't be around certain stronger scents. I love Chakra 2 and always find myself coming back to this one!
