This is my 2nd bottle and a little goes along way . Absolutely love Aveda products but they are not all created equally. This is by far the best . A mixture between a oil & serum this acts as a moisturiser but also keeps frizz at bay . This product has replaced two previous product ( so cost effective) as my hair is thick so It usually requires constant moisturising.I have 3B/3C Natural hair that tends to get dry/ frizzy easily, but this has been a god send . I use half a pump daily, in winter months but less often in the summer . Definitely helped with length retention & postpartum shedding .

I don't normally post my responses to products, but this is an Amazing product; i use it on my damp hair after a shower and either let it air dry or style after application.It keeps the humidity away like no other product and is light enough that it doesn't weigh down my hair.The key is less is more; this product is forgiving that a a light coating can be added after your hair is dry... Miltipurpose, always a good thing

I tried this product when the line was introduced. It was "ok," but not up to par with Dry Remedy Daily Moisturizing Oil which has been a key piece of my regimen for my thick, curly hair. I continued using Dry Remedy with great results. My disappointment increased when I was told the Dry Remedy Oil is being discontinued and the Nutriplenish oil is its replacement. This is NOT a replacement for Dry Remedy Oil! I will be trying other brand's products while using my last bottle of Dry Remedy.

I purchase oils from other providers, and they are pure oils, with only that ingredient in them. For instance, Lavender is Lavender, Castor Oil is Castor Oil, and so on. This oil, however, I did not notice a change in my hair when I used it. I had tried it before and thought, perhaps I had done something wrong. I am going back to my pure carrier oils moving forward. They are more cost-effective (*I get a lot more, in pure form) and I am seeing the results of using the pure oils. This oil, however, sits on top of my hair and just refuses to absorb at all.
Compared to the Brilliant hair shine in the blue bottle, this is terrible. Does not have as much shine or taming to it comparatively and I personally do not like added scent in my products. Prefer to just keep them as pure, clean and as few ingredients as possible. So sad they discontinued the product I have loved for around 25 years. Loved the Brilliant and don't even like this product. Going on a trip soon and now won't have a shine product which I definitely need.
My hair stylist recommended this to me. She was very careful to give exact directions. Very little goes a long way and you can always add more if needed. I've used the oil 3 times after my hair is dry. This oil is fantastic! Keeps frizz at bay for 3 days. My hair is very shiny and looking healthy. The scent is very nice. This bottle will last a long time. Worth every penny. I love it. Thank you Aveda!
I have very long fine hair, lots of it and heavily streaked. I was hoping this would be a replacement hair oil for the one I currently have that is no longer available. From the first pump I noticed it was very thick, and when it was applied to the ends and mid length it just felt tacky and not smooth at all (I only used 2 pumps). My hair took a long time to dry with this oil and by day two was a greasy mess. I tried a second time using only 2 pumps and blow dried, but again, greasy mess. Sorry Aveda, just not for me though I’m sure it would be great for people with medium to coarse hair.
And a bubble gum smell is not something I like lingering in my hair! The moisturizing and styling results are good when I distribute it evenly after blowing out my long, wavy hair (after applying Nutriplenish leave-in spray and some Light Elements Smoothing Fluid on my wet hair). But the Pure-Fume™ smell is not pleasant to me; it's even a slightly nauseating. I was told by my stylist that it is a replacement for Dry Remedy Daily Moisturizing Oil, which had a heavier, but less sweet perfume that I preferred. I think I might look at formulating my own oil with a jojoba base. Disappointing.
i need a light oil for finishing my light curls and this is perfectly light. It's a great product for a refresh during the day, or after a wash day and the smell is fabulous - like all Aveda products. I use the tiniest of amounts - the pump regulates really well so there is no waste. This will last me for ages.It's an added benefit that it's great for hydration which my hair needs.It can be used pre shampoo too, or as an overnight treatment. A wee bottle packs a punch.
This was suggested as a replacement to the Brilliant spray on shine. I tried it and it is a poor substitute! It doesn't even compare. If you loved Brilliant spray on shine you will hate this! And I can't find anything to use that comes close. After over 27 years of using Aveda I think I have had it with discounting the most popular products with nothing better to offer. I've slowly shifted to using other brands for the things I can't get from Aveda anymore.
