I'm a big fan of using a scalp treatment just because I don't wash my hair more than twice a week to preserve my hair color and my scalp tends to get itchy. This treatment is an absolute lifesaver! You don't need much and I just squirt little bits all over and massage it into my scalp. You don't feel anything but when you wash it out and you're done washing your hair, you hair and scalp feel so clean and detoxed! It's amazing because my scalp is soothes and cleanser but it doesn't feel dry or stripped of nourishment. It just makes my hair feel fantastic! I absolutely love exfoliating scalp treatments. As someone with very oily hair at the roots, I've tried most scalp products in the market. Aveda's salicylic treatment is super effective and gives me an extra day without needing to wash my hair, but it is also very gentle. It's made with naturally derived salicylic acid. It does not dry out the bleached parts of my hair. It gives me such a clean, fresh feeling and a bit of extra volume. I enjoyed using this product. The packaging makes the application easy. I like the liquid gel texture of the exfoliator. I loved the fresh feeling after I rinsed it off. I did not expect it to foam, I took the opportunity to massage my scalp a little more and distribute the product on my lengths. My scalp felt so clean and fresh after that. All my products performed better after using the exfoliator which makes me love it even more. I did one shampoo when usually I'd do 2.I plan on using it every 2 Wash day or once a month to detox my hair.P.S. the after picture is the result of the exfoliating scalp treatment alone, before washing with shampoo.
