This conditioner is wonderfully hydrating and balancing for the hair and scalp. It has a great detoxifying quality to it that maintains the health and oils on the scalp but still feels incredibly nourishing on all the hairs. You don't need much at all and it really helps smooth, soften, and detangle my damaged hair. If doesn't strip my hair of oils or makes it feel dry. It works so well with the shampoo and it has been a lifesaver for my dirty gym hair. I love this conditioner paired with the shampoo! It's a powerhouse combo and I highly recommend it! I've been using this product and I absolutely love it! My scalp feels cleaner than ever before thanks to the deep cleansing properties of this conditioner. My hair looks healthier, softer, more hydrated, and has an overall healthy shine. Plus I love that it's free of sulfates which makes it gentle enough for daily use.Overall I'm highly impressed with Scalp Solutions Balancing Shampoo and Replenishing Conditioner. I was gifted by Aveda the Scalp Solutions Replenishing Conditioner in exchange for my honest thoughts on the product, here goes! So I was super thick, naturally curly hair that is ALWAYS in need of moisture...I've also suffered with dry itchy scalp my whole life so I was really excited to try this out! My first impressions are of course, the beautiful scent...true to Aveda and did not disappoint! And while I don't typically focus conditioner on my scalp because it usually just adds buildup the product also moisturized my curls through the lengths. Will continue using this to see how it performs over time and so far...I like it!
I've been trying out a lot of Aveda scalp products recently and I have been enjoying many of them. They're really helped get rid of flakes, which I can't figure out if they're from dry scalp or product build up or both. It's a constant issue with every wash. All of their products have greatly helped my scalp. With that said, I do not like the scent the products have and wish they didn't have any added fragrance - it's just quite potent and my animals don't like that. For this product, it doesn't work well with my hair type which is long, coarse and curly. It kind of weighs my hair down but does not detangle like my preferred conditioner. For the scalp though, I love it. This was complimentary from Aveda, but all opinions are 100% my own.
I used this conditioner after washing my hair with the Scalp Solutions Shampoo.After applying, I massaged the conditioner into my scalp for about a minute.It IMMEDIATELY soothed my itchy and sensitive feeling scalp! I'm not kidding - the relief was immediate.I'm addition, this conditioner has left my hair feeling so soft and the aroma makes me feel so chill.😴NOTE: My scalp is super dry yet breaks out easily. If you have a more oily scalp, less is more with this conditioner. 👍🏼I will forever have this line in my shower rotation. 💕
I was sent this conditioner to try for free in exchange for my honest review. I'm on the fence about this one. Does it do what it is supposed to do for my scalp? Yes, absolutely. My scalp is prone to being itchy and this definitely helped. Do I feel like it conditioned my hair and left my curls soft? Not really. My hair still felt pretty dry after use and it wasn't great for detangling. But then again, the conditioner never claimed to do that- it's more targeted at the scalp. I wasn't able to try the full line- just the conditioner. So maybe it works better paired with the Aveda scalp shampoo?
So disappointed that Scalp Benefits has been replaced with this formulation. Bought the shampoo and conditioner duo after a recent salon visit when my stylist explained Scalp Benefits had been discontinued - I have used Scalp Benefits religiously for the last couple of years to balance out an hormonally induced itchy, flaky scalp. This formulation doesn't smell as good and more importantly leaves my hair looking absolutely terrible: flat and dull, even greasy looking roots and no shine at all on the lengths. Can't understand why this is replacing the wonderful Scalp Benefits which both cared for my scalp and left my hair looking consistently shiny and feeling manageable and soft.
Complimentary from Aveda- I find this conditioner to be more focused on a healthy scalp rather than being super nourishing/moisturizing. It's a great conditioner for soothing the scalp, and it does help detangle. Since it's a lighter conditioner, I just use my other favorite conditioner on my ends. My hair is very happy for it. My winter dandruff has essentially disappeared, and I notice less oily buildup at the end of the day despite using this conditioner in my scalp. My hair and skin are very oily, and my hair looks greasy if I even skip one shower. It's exhausting. But this refreshing line from Aveda will make an everyday chore into an everyday spa experience.
