Loved the feel and smell! I didn’t really know much about Aveeno I hair products before being sent 3 full sized products of shampoo (2 bottles) and conditioner ( 1 bottle). Upon opening the shampoo, I noticed it definitely had a scent like apple cider vinegar, but ACV tends to be really strong so I expected it. I didn't mind because it's more of an earthy natural scent and not so chemically. The shampoo lathers well but not in a way that seems focused on what it SHOULD do. A lot of shampoos that lather bubbly are horrible for and coat your hair strands. I noticed while washing that my hair was coming cleaner and felt different. When I dried my hair I could already see a difference and my hair felt less weighed down. From the scent to the difference in my hair's texture, this shampoo is a winner!

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. What was interesting about this product was the blend it came in. It was apple cider vinegar and to be quite honest I wasn’t expecting a pleasant scent. When I tried the product i was pleasantly surprised as it smelled great. I liked that it had a natural blend component and was free of harsh chemicals like sulfates, dyes, and parabens which is important to me. It left my hair feeling smooth and what was most important I didn’t have much tangles or knots post wash! My hair felt shinier and smelling great. Will definitely repurchase.

I've used Aveeno before but this was my first time using the Apple Cider Vinegar set. I will say that I did not expect it to smell as good as it did. I opened the lid and I smelt fresh apples and not a hint of Apple Cider Vinegar. That was a plus! Unfortunately, after using it many times throughout the month, I was not very impressed. I have long thick hair and it's always a struggle to find the perfect conditioner or shampoo that helps detangle or strengthen my hair. I had to use a good amount of conditioner to actually "condition" my hair. I also had to leave it in for 5-8 minutes and sometimes that would not change the outcome. I only used it for the first shampoo then my normal shampoo for the second shampoo each time I used it. It has a thick jelly-like texture which wasn't my favorite personally. My husband really is fond of this clarifying shampoo though. He has long hair and it really helps with product buildup and his hair getting weighed down. Perfectly cleanses and wonderful fragrance.

I just purchased this apple cider vinegar shampoo. I cannot write enough wonderful things about it. It cleanses beautifully, unlike a lot of modern shampoos, and the icing on the cake is the incredible fragrance, which reminds me of my favorite shampoo fragrance of all time, Herbal Essence. I didn’t write that it smells exactly like Herbal Essence, but it is the absolute closest scent to it that I have found. With the shampoo, you not only get a wonderful shampoo, but also an incredible scent! I went back out to purchase the matching conditioner because I want to compound the scent and have it last. Takes a little getting used to, but excellent!

Let me begin by saying I have been using cheaper products on my hair and was used to how they work. This conditioner is excellent, but it doesn't work like some of the cheaper ones that have more chemicals. I have fine hair and was used to using a tiny amount of conditioner so it wouldn't get weighted down. I need to use more of this conditioner, as it rinses out easily and does not weigh down your hair. Once I used more, and also made sure not to 'over-rinse' it all out, I got the results I wanted. It leaves my hair very soft and smooth. It's not artificially slick with additives as some other products, so I had to get used to how this worked. But it does work if you give it a chance! This product destroyed my hair

I bought this product because of great reviews & to cleanse the hard water deposit buildup from my hair. I had waist length very thick very curly hair. I used the product & the very next morning, the entire right side of my hair was a tightly matted ball. I spent hours trying to untangle it. A friend spent hours more. We did get almost half out. Ultimately I had to go to a salon. I was told it had to be cut. The worst part was close to my scalp. I finally went to salon that specialized in locs. Two professionals, working simultaneously spent hours more, They actually had to use a razor. I lost over half of the volume of my hair. The pain to my scalp was excruciating. It cost almost $200 in product & paying the professionals. My head is still very sore.
