And I’ve not been able to find anything to work since; until NOW! This “Averno Daily Moisturizing Body Lotion”. There were several reasons I decided to give it a try: Mainly, it does *not include “Aloe nor Lanolin” in its ingredients; it has only TEN ingredients in it, it’s “fragrance free” and “Dermatologist Recommended” AND has *Prebiotic oat in it. I use it almost every day and I’ve never seen my hands feel and look this good since I began having the severe dry skin issues some years ago after going through six weeks of 24 hours a day chemo treatments. Now, I must say this though too ... I found out about *Brazil nuts some years ago but never ordered any because they are SO EXPENSIVE ($20 for a one pound bag) but just this last CHRISTmas I bought myself a bag of *Brazil nuts and they had already showed to be helping my skin heal but since I eat them, now, on a regular basis AND started using this “Aveeno Daily Moisturizing” I see hope of “full recovery” from my severe dry skin issues”; I have pics but can’t get them to load to this application. My hands use to feel and look monstrous, literally; now they are looking refreshed and some young again; I’m only in my 50s and shouldn’t have 127 years old looking skin but I did until I began eating *Brazil nuts and rubbing this *Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Lotion on my skin; so needless to say I am a very thankful customer who finally found some answers for me, after 8+ long agonizing years! This 18 fluid ounces is probably going to last me a whole year but if not I do plan to buy it again if I need to and I do recommend others to try it. Everything went well with the transaction, delivery and packaging.

"New Formula" is Terrible

Like others have mentioned, the “new formula” Aveno is touting has ruined this product. It leaves your skin feeling SUPER dry after showering, and the moisturizing component was one of its most attractive selling points. The new version is literally the direct inverse of how the previous version performed. My wife and I both have been buying this body wash exclusively for years now, and it worked great until recently. We didn’t even mind paying a little more for it as the cost increased over time, but now they’re charging significantly more for a product that’s objectively inferior. What in the world was the team who was working on this product thinking?? Since the new formula hit shelves we’ve been sampling other brands to try and find an alternative. Been using this for 24 years, new formula awful

I have been using Aveeno body wash for 24 years. You recently changed the formula and it’s awful on the skin. I get you took out the sulfites, but in comparing my new bottle to an old formula one I had you also took out the oatmeal ingredients. As a result my skins not soft. I can even feel the difference in the film on my scrunchie. Worse yet is I started not feeling like I was clean and was complaining that I could smell body odor. I thought my deodarant was no longer working. I threw out the new formula bottle and started using the old formula and my “body odor” problem disappeared.Now after 24 years I will never buy this again. Different, But Worse, Formula

I've been using Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Wash for about 10 years now. It was the abosulte best body wash I've ever used until they decided to change the formula. Now the smell is more "clinical" like something you'd find at a nurse's office. It's not as luxurious, there is far less lather, my skin doesn't smell as fresh, and my skin is nowhere near as soft/smooth as it was before the new formulation. The back of the new formulation bottles say "92 percent agreed this product left their skin feeling nourished while they showered". The problem is that Aveeno didn't bother to cite the source of that study. I definitely wasn't a participant in that study. There are only two good things I can say about the new formula. #1. New formula flaring my eczema!

I'm very disappointed in the new formula as a long time eczema sufferer and a pharmacist who has been recommending this Aveeno body wash to patients with eczema over many years. It's now so horrifyingly drying to the skin and you can tell the difference immediately when you start lathering it in your pouf, loufa, or wash cloth, etc. It lathers poorly now since they took out the surfactant ingredient sodium laureth sulfate which causes the poor lather. Then they cut down on the quantity of their main enriching ingredient Aveeno is known for; oat. The old formula had 3 oat ingredients: oat kernal flour, oat kernel oil, and oat kernel extract, plus other emollients which gave it that rich, creamy moisturizing property. Vary disappointing

I went to the store to get my normal body wash that I always get, don’t pay attention that it said NEW FORMULA at the top. I get home used it the next day, open it up, the smell is different. So I look at the bottle and see that the is a new formula. Well okay I’ll use it anyway, dry off find out that my skin is a little dried out, don’t think to much about it. Kept using it 3 days later my sky keeps drying out and turning ashy. It’s really sad I stood behind Aveeno for years, because I could not find anything else that worked with my skin. Now I am back to the drawing board waiting money to find a new body wash. I would be fine if you guys just bring back the original body wash. Why do we need to change something if it doesn’t need fixing?
