QUANTITY: The amount of product is average. I've been using it every morning and evening for the past month and I've only used one third of the bottle. I believe this will last me 2 months more. RESULTS: The product claims to complete a cleansing routine, working as a last step for removing the remaining dirt and makeup residues; which I found to be true. Nevertheless, it also claimed to calm the skin after a cleansing routine, which I found to be false. My skin didn't feel soothe or calmed after using this toner, but it felt lightly hidratated and prepared for the rest of my skincare routine. PRICE: I would say this toner is pricy considering its average results and high fragance level.

Love this brand so much. Highly recommend all their products but I honestly love this one sooooo much. Brilliant product and great value. It makes my skin super clear and soft. I don't have severe acne so I can't speak for everyone but this does smell unreal. Worth a try anyways!!!

Best affordable skincare

Never heard of or tried Avene products before although I work for a high end skincare brand I've never heard about it from anyone. Such amazing products the brand should have it's own stand alone store or counter in department stores in the uk. I love the fact that Avene is great for sensitive skin but also has a clean delicate luxury smelling fragrance.I love it! I've now been using Avene since I stumbled across a youtube video mentioning it. I've got the micellar lotion, antioxidant serum, radiance serum , tinted mineral fluid and this softening lotion. Lovely toner

I love this toner. It keeps my occasionally reactive, combo skin happy and clear. It nicely preps my skin for serums and moisturizers. Unlike most of the toners/hydrosols I usually mist on, I like to swipe this on with a cotton pad. Nice, gentle smell and non-irritating.

My go to toner now

I started using avene products about a year ago. I really liked them so I started buying different products. Using a regular toner was too harsh for my skin, so I stopped all together. Until I saw this on the website. It has great reviews, so I figured I would try it. Best decision for my dry sensitive skin. It makes my skin so soft and much smoother. It does a great job moisturizing my skin, without breakouts. My skin just looks better after using this. This gentle toning lotion really helps my face with some redness and irritation as well.

Not for Normal to Oily Skin

The reason that I originally purchased this product was due to the Avène website stating that this product is suitable for all skin types. However, the bottle clearly states “Dry to very dry skin”, which made me leery to purchase the product. However, I decided to give it a try andI confirmed my concerns. This product is much too hydrating for those of us with “Normal to Oily” skin. My complexion felt sticky. I feel that the Avène Mineral spray is a more suitable choice.

I am not a big fan of toners and always feel they can be quite harsh on the skin, so never really use them, and after sampling this I think I will be sticking to my original plan. The fact this was advertised as a 'gentle toner', made me curious to see if I would notice any difference in my skin. When I noticed, however, that there is a heavy amount of fragrance in the ingredients list, I am certain it's not the gentlest of toners. I applied some onto a cotton ball and after cleansing, patted it onto my dry face and upper neck area. My face did sting slightly around the eye area, but I thought it was the product just settling in. So Gentle

My skin recently became insanely sensitive and as always I turned to Avene, as this is a very good brand, that is reasonably priced and doesn't sting my eyes, or skin when it goes hyper. I had never tried the Gentle Toner before, but having seen all the recent blogs on the importance of toner I decided to give this one a go and I love it! Wish it was fragrance free

I really do like this toner. My skin feels so soft after I use it. However, I will not be repurchasing because it contains fragrance. Had I read the ingredients before purchasing, I would not have gotten it. If they ever make a fragrance free version, I will definitely purchase!
