HOLY GRAIL! No matter the season of the year, no matter your skin type, this product does what it promises and more. Me and my husband have opposite kind of skin (oily vs. really dry) and we both get marvelous results when using . It doesn't leave a greasy sensation as your skin absorbs it very well. It is suitable for day and night use and it goes perfect with my matte gel sunscreen or make up. It's. my best ally when using retinoid or retinol at 2% or 5%. I also love the smell as it's a sort of neutral "clean" smell not sweetie not excessively perfumed.

My face is oily and I was afraid that this moisturizer was going to make it worse. Its a nice moisturizer. I can see the difference and its only been two weeks. A little goes a long way. I don't like the size of the bottle it comes in but at least its not in a jar where I can stick my fingers in. I do recommend this moisturizer. I feels lightweight enough to be hydrating correctly. I love it. I also bought this at Ulta Beauty in person.

This stuff is amazing, one of the only products that keeps my son hydrated and keeps my dermatitis at bay! I like to slather on a layer of it and then put aquaphore on after, they call it slugging 😂 it’s worked wonders on my skin, I’m 44 and I get told often I look like I’m in my 30’s. Everything from Avene that I’ve tried is just awesome. I just purchased some new stuff, excited to try!
If you like the consistency of light moisturizers this is the one. It is a lovely light texture yet does a great job moisturizing. However, it has a strong fragrance which I wasn't expecting for a sensitive skin line. It doesn't smell bad just strong like a bar of Ivory soap. Too strong for me to put on my face so I downgraded it to a hand cream instead. If this came in a fragrance free option I would purchase again.
I really enjoyed how light this went on however, I did not feel it was hydrating enough for my skin. Additionally, I developed a reaction to this lotion after about a week's time (burning/stinging) and am no longer able to use it on my face.I'm currently using it as a hand lotion so not to go to waste but will not repurchase once gone.
I ordered for summer after having loved the Tolerance Extreme Creme during winter (discontinued of course). It’s so heavily perfumed, I could taste it! I didn’t last 10 minutes and unfortunately washed away some very expensive product I wasted underneath. So disappointing.
I have fair, freckled, rosacea skin and this is the ONLY moisturizer I’ve used that is simple and light and just does the job. However, I NEED A BIGGER SIZE!!!! The bottle is SOOO tiny and I find myself savoring each use when I really need a lot more. Please please consider making a larger size.
I love Avene! I began by using the cicalfate restorative which is heavy duty but just loved what it did for my skin. I used it daily and now use it at night. The Hydrance Light is just as effective but much lighter and has a very pleasant aroma. I use the serum first then add the Hydrance light . Keeps my skin plump and glowy all day. All the products I’ve tried so far are just wonderful. The foam cleanser is remarkable, too. I’m thrilled to have found such high quality facial products. Highly recommend!
This cream was recommended by an Avene skin care specialist to use with the Retrinal 0.1 cream. It is a lovely light weight cream that has a nice scent. If you are scent-averse then this may not be for you but I don’t mind it. it does a nice job hydrating my skin.
