The cream contains fragrance and it is quite strong. I did not expect that in the Avenue range for sensitive skin and that put me off. I will use it but I will never buy it again and I would not recommend it for those who don’t like cosmetics with fragrance. It also seems to leave a possibly protective film on the skin instead of being absorbed and maybe that is its purpose. I might buy Avenue products in the future but not this particular cream mainly because of the fragrance which I believe is unnecessary.

I’m 73 and several yrs ago my skin began drying and wouldn’t absorb amazing JAFRA I’d used for 30 years, nor any other hydrating cream. The creams would wipe off as if I applied it over pealing sunburn skin! However, AVENE is the most incredible hydrating cream that actually absorbs, that I have tried. I seriously cannot think of one hydrating cream I haven’t used. I can now use HYALLURONIC Hydration serum and AVENE %26 apply a foundation without the foundation peeling off as I apply!

Five stars for product quality and performance. It has all the qualities I was searching for. It is rich, ultra hydrating, thick and goes on smoothly. The winters are long and drying in New England. I wanted this as my everyday, go-to moisturizer. The moment I opened it and caught wind of the scent was my usual "oh, no...". I absolutely detest the signature scent of AVENE (yet I love the product!). It is strong, it lingers and frequently can be irritating. Why would company that is know for making products for people with sensitive skin use a horrible fragrance? It is a bitter/floral/old-lady cheap perfume scent. Horrible. I could live with a scent which was subtle, did not linger and fresh. Please consider remaking your signature scent.

This is an excellent, expert skincare routine that replenishes moisture to all types of dehydrated sensitive skin for up to 24 hours. The routine is very simple but the results are superb. The first step is to cleanse the face with the thermal spring water to sooth, freshen and balance PH levels on the skin. Next, I apply the serum onto the face and neck to rehydrate and smooth the appearance of fine lines. Lastly I moisturise with the rich hydrating cream for a smooth finish. My skin looks and feels great. No wonder it has been recommended by dermatologists. This is the first time I have used an Avene product but it will not be the last. A great routine that I will be using in the future.
It’s an alright basic moisturizer. Looks nice when first applied but soon becomes greasy after an hour or 2 even on my dry skin and in colder weather. Fragrance is strong and unnecessary. Wish it was a richer texture - it’s extremely light like a lotion and not what I’d expect from a rich cream. While my skin doesn’t feel tight, I wouldn’t necessarily call this product hydrating. Can find better moisturizers at a better price that will give you better results.

I have rosacea, acne prone, superrrr sensitive skin. Like everything makes my skin freak out. This is a miracle product. It keeps my skin so hydrated (with no breakouts) during these dry winters and summers in utah. Amazing product. I dont see myself switching moisturizer for a long long time. The tube does seem small, but you just need a tiny amount so this tube should last a while.
Not enough hydration, lots of fragrance, I dont understand the need for fragrance in skinkcare routine? I have healthy skin, after applying this product my skin became more dry and this product was like powdery substance on my skin. I read lot of reviews before purchasing, waste of money, their return policy sucks, I emailed coustomer care asking for Refund, they dint come back, worst coustomer service ever, don't waste your money on brands who doest care for coustomer satisfaction. There are so many better skincare products who accepts the products if you're not satisfied. Never buy from them again.I don't recommend this product to anyone.
This moisturizer is definitely in my top 2. Works wonders for dry sensitive skin especially during the colder months. My only criticism is the fragrance. It’s too old lady perfume-ish however, I will say, the fragrance doesn’t last long. it goes away in a few minutes. I love the price for a product that works so well for my dry, dehydrated, sensitive skin. Any excess get rubs into my hands as well. Definitely a product I will be buying many more times.
