This has been ok and I'll definitely enjoy finishing it, but this just seems an unnecessary purchase honestly even for under $20 for 10oz. I used to have to spray bottle with battery operated/removable fan on top that while bulkier and harder to travel with works better to cool off. I use it at the beach and outdoor concerts. You will never make more friends at an outdoor concert venue than when you have one! And it's well under $20.

I was skeptical at first, but after buying a bottle at Ulta while they had a nice coupon going on I’m convinced that this will be an essential step to my skincare routine! Your skin absorbs other products better when it’s still wet. I love how fine the mist is from this bottle, and it’s literally just nice water. After patting it in it dries within a few minutes minute and leaves my face feeling baby soft and smooth. I also spray before putting on skin soothing toner, then my face lotion, layering while my face is still wet. There’s also no smell to it, so it really is perfect for people with sensitive skin.

After trying other brands of this type of mineral water facial mist, Avene remains my favorite. I ordered the smaller size to take with me but I intend to purchase the larger one to keep in my bathroom. The nozzle dispenses a very fine mist and I haven’t had any problems with it sticking or coming loose. A great product. I like to mist my face, neck and chest area with it before applying moisturizer. There is no scent of any kind.

This water spray really surprised me! It was super hydrating and calming. I love to use this morning and night after cleansing for a smooth hydrated base before I apply my other skincare products. My sensitive skin had a reaction to another product, and after spraying this I definitely saw a visible improvement in the irritation and the redness completely went away. The spray is so refreshing, I love having this bottle on my bedside table to really wake me up in the morning or spray during the night to cool down. Otherwise, I have not thought very highly of splashing water on my face. If it's not about washing your eyes in the morning. However, I got this product for free with another product and then I tried it. And was very positively surprised. I have dry and sensitive skin and this spray had a great soothing effect on the irritations. Since the bottle was small and ran out quickly, I tried another company's, which was not half as good, the skin remained tight. So, there's something about it that works.

This is not a crock if you use it as intended and have appropriate expectations. This should not be used as a moisturizer alone as it is just WATER! Water alone left to dry on the skin will simply evaporate and take some of the water in your skin WITH IT (transepidermal water loss), thus potentially being more drying. However, the minerals in thermal water are thought to be beneficial for skin, such as by reducing inflammation, protecting against sun damage, moisturizing, etc (keeping in mind there are only a handful of flawed studies researching this). The proper way to use thermal water spray is to follow-up immediately with an occlusive moisturizer. Meh, what can I say-- personally I think it's a bit of a gimmick to sell water in a spray can. Not only is it wasteful for our environment, but it's not really a necessary step in your routine. I get that water in spray format might come in handy with makeup, and that's about the only time I've found this to be truly helpful. It is nice to spray a bit on your blending sponges or on your brushes to help the product 'stick' provide a more 'translucent', even finish. Other than that, this product doesn't contain any ingredients that are going to 'tone' your skin or provide really any beneficial skincare progress. Instead of adding an unnecessary product to your routine, just dip your brushes/sponges in tap (or filtered) water for the same effect. Avene Thermal Springwater really impressed me. I was curious and had to give it a try, but was skeptical. This water is amazing! It hydrates my skin throughout the day.
