I love this tinted compact! Only reason for 4 stars is I wish they had more variety in colors. This works really well for me in the summer since I’m tanner. But it might be a bit too much for me in the winter when I’m pale. I get the shade beige and I love how it looks on me. I feel like I’m wearing makeup and it gives me a nice natural look. You can definitely build up coverage if that’s what you’re looking for too. I like a more light coverage and a little goes a long way! I will definitely repurchase and hopefully they can expand their color range!

I absolutely love this creamy, tinted SPF. I have combination skin and really don't like greasy sunscreens. I've tried so many and this one feels great on my skin. I've been using Honey during the summer, but also bought beige for the fall/winter season. I don't use the sponge that they provides, because I feel it absorbs too much product. Instead, I like to apply with my fingers and spread it with a foundation brush. I get a fantastic Photoshopped look. I fI need to reapply on the go, I use my fingers to spread the product. Per other reviews, this is can be buildable and easy to blend.

Smooths on, leaving no creases, can be used as foundation, I just love it. Great colour too. Bought the beige. This will last me all summer. After serum and moisturiser, the Avene Mineral Tinted is applied n seconds, evenly and smoothly, and I'm ready to walk the dogs in 80+ degree weather!

Hard to describe, you'll have to try for yourself. Its a thick-ish but very spreadable cream. When you first smear it on with the sponge, you'll think it's so dark, but as you spread it out, it just becomes a tint of color. There is no coverage like foundation, its really just a sheer tint. On me it's looks like a tan filter. it's not sticky or runny, pretty much stays put. Anyone medium skin or darker could easily wear this Honey colorI tried this a couple ways. 1)Adding powder on top didn't work, powder got stuck to it. 2) best combo was this + concealer under eyes, simple eye-shadow/mascara . Lasted through an 8 hr day cookout/pool party.
I couldn't tell from the reviews if this was a pressed powder or a cream. If you're curious it is a cream compact. The color looks fine on my light/medium neutral undertone skin, but it is pretty shear. It also has a kinda greasy finish. I'm not sure how anyone would use this to touch up during the day if they were already wearing foundation. I think it would get heavy. But if you weren't wearing any foundation on your face it would probably be fine, but if you have oily or combo skin you'll probably need to powder too. I'm not sure how I feel about this product. I want to like it but I don't think I do.
This is perfect if you want just a hint of makeup when you are going to the beach. My skin sometimes has a a few breakouts that I am self conscious about. This is a great little compact to make them less noticeable and add sun protection as well. My moisturizer has a SPF value also so I use that first and then apply this compact on top. It is build-able if you need a bit more coverage and it does not get orangey or cakey which is a plus. I have just a little natural color on my face in the summer and got the beige color. It's a good match to my skin tone right now but may be a bit too dark for me in the winter when I lose color.
I have very sensitive skin to various sunscreens, so I was hesitant to order this. However, I took a chance on this foundation. I have used it many times when I was planning on being in the sun. It works well and I had no adverse reaction to it. Now it is creamy and thick, so if you are used to a light foundation, this will feel different. Usually I am using a light mineral foundation, but it is not so bad I will take away any stars. When you have had a melanoma removed you do what you need to do and this seems to work very well. Blocks the sun and provides coverage for make up a win win.
I love everything about this product. I was looking for a tinted sunscreen, but this is so much more. It covers like a medium coverage foundation. The color in the pan looked like it would be a little too dark for my skin tone, but it somehow changes to match my skin color. I purchased this to replace my tinted sunscreen, but this has quickly replaced my foundation too. In fact, I don't even use foundation anymore unless I'm going out at night. I can't live without it; I always have an extra for backup and find myself hoarding it when there's a sale. It's hydrating and a little shiny/dewy so I pat a little finishing powder over it. I often get compliments on my skin when I wear it.

I tried this after surgery; doctor recommended I use an SPF 50 sunscreen--which typically causes me to break out. Avène Mineral Tinted Compact SPF 50 is amazing. It goes on like a cream foundation--very smooth. It does not cause my typically oily skin to breakout; nor does it cause it to produce more oil. It actually works to keep my skin to not get as oily similar to a matte foundation--with a slight healthy glow. I do not need to wear foundation over the sunscreen--the tint has just the right amount of color. It seems slightly dark (I'm fair), but it blends well and seems to change color to match my skin. Super happy with this purchase; I may even use it in the winter. Thank you for an amazing sunscreen product.
