I was given this pacifier set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I wasn’t sure if my little one would take this paci since he has only liked one type out of all the ones we’ve tried so far. He took it right away! I actually prefer this one over his other favorite because it’s one piece. I don’t have to worry about water getting trapped inside or between plastic pieces. This pacifier is easy to clean. She seemed to figure it out quickly and likes it pretty well and it hasn’t interfered with nursing (huge plus!) but I have some complaints. The design is nice in that the heart shape leaves room for their nose but it is still large overall and for smaller babies like mine it still hits the nose when sucking. I like the silicone for easy cleanup and that there aren’t many books and crannies for spit up to get trapped in but it’s also very heavy and seems to fall out of her mouth sometimes. It’s slightly wider than the traditional round Soothie, however the indent is perfect for little noses! No more squished noses on little babies! The shape is perfect and the size works great! I also love that these pacifiers are easy to wash and disinfect. Throw them in the dishwasher or in a microwaveable sterilizing bag, and you’re good to go! There’s also a hole to insert a lovey or clip to attach it to baby or stroller/car seat, so you’re not fumbling around, looking for it. Very convenient and easy to use! I think the thought is the stimulation of the nose may be irritation, but it actually helps to be there with our son.Cleaning by hand has been the easiest for me, even with the hollow nipple that also needs to be cleaned from the inside due to the fact that fingers are stuck inside of the hollow part. Again, this is our third child so we have lots of helpers and lots of pacis dropping, but cleaning is easy, does not cause discoloration and dries quickly. The brand is consistent in quality and the material maintains its soft pliable texture that my newborn prefers after lots of use and cleaning.
