I received the Philips Avent Ultra Air Pacifier for ages 6-18 months as part of being selected from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This package includes a set of four pacifiers uniquely designed with four air holes to prevent skin from getting too moist due to the build up of saliva when your little one sucks on the pacifier. The pacifiers are also encased in a neat carrying case that also doubles as a sterilization base when needed which was extremely convenient and very simple to do. Despite these unique features, unfortunately my baby did not take to the pacifier well. This result has nothing to do with the design and overall functionality of the pacifier. It does exactly what it is supposed to do by keeping your baby’s skin dry and the only reason my little ... MoreI received the Philips Avent Ultra Air Pacifier for ages 6-18 months as part of being selected from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It does exactly what it is supposed to do by keeping your baby’s skin dry and the only reason my little one did not take well to the pacifier was simply due to the fact that she’s a preemie baby and from her two months spent in the NICU up until now, she was only accepting of one particular brand because of comfort. While she kept the Philips Avent Ultra Air Pacifier for a few minutes , eventually she would realize that something was off and would cry until she would get her normal pacifier which as you can imagine, was very disappointing because of all the unique benefits of this product. With that being said, if you are a mama to a preemie such as myself, it may take a little bit of an adjustment period before your baby gets used to this pacifier. Hopefully within the next couple weeks, she’ll be able to make a smooth transition into using the Philips Avent Ultra Air Pacifier.

I received the Philips Avent Ultra Air Pacifier 4 pack as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and was hoping it would help with our 5 month old's 'crusties' as we call them. My wife and I had tried just about every type of pacifier, but they all had the same problem: Our son's upper lip would be covered in 'crusties.'Our son is teething really aggressively right now, and is drooling a ton because of the that. When the drool dries, it annoys him at the base of his nose. There is nothing worse that finally getting a teething baby to fall asleep, only to have him wake up because of uncomfortable dried drool. We can understand him needing to be soothed when he is in pain from the teeth pushing through his gums, but dried drool seems really annoying when it ... MoreI received the Philips Avent Ultra Air Pacifier 4 pack as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and was hoping it would help with our 5 month old's 'crusties' as we call them. It seems simple, but putting a few air holes in the plate that covers his lips gave enough air to his upper lip to allow the crusties to dry more normally. The Philips Avent Ultra Air Pacifier helped my wife and I get a few more hours or sleep each night, and if something can give me a few more hours of sleep, I'll recommend it to everyone I know, so all my friends can expect to get a 4 pack when they are expecting a new family addition.

I received this pacifier to test out through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This pacifier has a lot of features that I, as a parent, really like. I appreciate the design meant to limit salvia buildup and dry the area around the mouth to avoid the baby getting dry skin. I like the pacifier container, which can hold two pacifiers and can be sterilized and is dishwasher friendly. I sterilized it in the microwave with sterilizing bags and had no issues. I think the design is cute. The problem, though, is that my baby doesn't really care about any of these things. His other pacifiers are simple silicone and have a sturdier nipple, so I was kind of surprised to see that this one is designed for older babies but also has a much softer nipple that felt more in line with ... MoreI received this pacifier to test out through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Regardless, he treats this more than a toy than a means of soothing himself. He'll chew on it and play with it when he's up and moving, but it's not what he reaches for in the crib or to calm himself down. So, long story short, if your baby is relatively flexible when it comes to pacifiers, this could be a good option, but for me, it's a novelty and not a replacement for his preferred pacifiers.

As a parent whose children are picky about pacifiers, the Philips Avent Ultra Air Pacifier was a great option for me to try with my daughter. Most importantly, she was able to keep the pacifier in her mouth with a high palate. The pacifier is lightweight, the cut-outs around the mouth help keep her skin dry, and the handle makes it easy to attach to a pacifier clip. The sterilizing case is convenient for cleanly storing the pacifier on the go, and the instructions are printed right on the case, complete with a line inside so you don't have to measure how much water to add. And when following the instructions, the water is not dangerously hot when retrieving the pacifier! The only cons to this product are that the container has no loops or handles to attach it to a ... MoreAs a parent whose children are picky about pacifiers, the Philips Avent Ultra Air Pacifier was a great option for me to try with my daughter. And when following the instructions, the water is not dangerously hot when retrieving the pacifier! The only cons to this product are that the container has no loops or handles to attach it to a diaper bag or the like, and while the handle on the pacifier itself is great for a pacifier clip, my daughter kept catching it with her hands and pulling out the pacifier. I also wish the plastic on the base was a little softer against her skin, perhaps if it were made of silicone. All in all, a solidly designed and easy to clean pacifier! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this pacifier pack.
I am VERY picky when it comes to pacifiers and have a few must-have characteristics for them since it will be in baby’s mouth A LOT:1. Nipple shape - To avoid nipple confusion in the earlier weeks of breastfeeding, and now for healthy development, we only use pacifiers with a rounded/cylindrical shape to most closely mimic the mother’s nipple.2. One piece - I prefer pacifiers to be all one piece (made entirely of silicone) for easier cleaning and to reduce the possibility of mold/bacteria growth or choking hazards.3. Aesthetically pleasing - This is, of course, not a safety or development concern… but, it’s still really important to me! I gravitate toward pacifiers with a simple, minimal, neutral, and beautiful design. Aesthetically pleasing - This is, of course, not a safety or development concern… but, it’s still really important to me! I gravitate toward pacifiers with a simple, minimal, neutral, and beautiful design. The baby has a pacifier in for SO much of the day (and so many pictures - ha!) that I really want it to be beautiful to look at OR not draw too much attention to itself.Unfortunately, for these three very picky reasons, the Avent Ultra Air pacifier is not the one for me. Though I LOVE the idea of airflow around baby’s mouth to avoid skin irritation (a weakness of many of the silicone options), and find the carrying case to be a HUGE perk, the look of the pacifier and nipple shape would ultimately keep me from purchasing it. I don’t love the gendered color options or the characters on it and I wouldn’t select a flattened nipple option as it might interfere with breastfeeding.A big thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me try this pacifier pack!
I received this Philips Avent Ultra Air Pacifier to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It was the perfect time for it as my baby just turned 7 months and I needed to replace his newborn pacifiers with a bigger size. These were slightly bigger than the previous size, which was perfect for my son. He transitioned nicely to this pacifier. He is strictly breastfed and there was no nipple confusion or feeding refusal. The air spaces were nice and he did not develop a rash from using this pacifier. I liked the color and the picture design on the pacifier; it was a nice baby design but not too cutsie for me. The carrying case was nice as I could bring it to and from daycare in it and then sterilize it immediately when returning home, which was very ... MoreI received this Philips Avent Ultra Air Pacifier to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I personally do not like pacifiers with rings as they remind me of a cow nose ring. And while I liked this pacifier, I do not think it is appreciably different than many other pacifiers out there. It is a fine product and thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving me the opportunity to test out this product, but I would probably buy this only if it was much cheaper than another pacifier since it is nothing special and I do not like the ring attached.
I received this pacifier set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. When we first received the Philips Avent Ultra Air Pacifiers in the mail we were skeptical. Our little one clearly had a favorite pacifier and hadn't been keen to try others despite several attempts. This problem was solved with the transition to the new pacifier. The Philips Avent Ultra Air Pacifiers have truly been the healthiest pacifier for our baby. Right away, we could tell the difference between this and other pacifiers. The material is softer and more lightweight than others. Most importantly, It's appears to be an upgraded material that keeps moisture close to the skin. The Avent Ultra Air Pacifier's design truly allowed more air to flow through the product allowing for moisture to dry much faster than any other pacifier we'd tried. This ultimately kept mouth much dryer, allowing for even the peskiest breakout to eventually clear up.At first, our little one wasn't too interested in the pacifier but after presenting it to him a few times, it's easily become his favorite. He loves that he can easily grasp the handle and pull the pacifier out of his mouth during meal times. Putting it back in is also easier for him as he can easily grip the sides of the cut out. A win for both mom and baby!Lastly, the pacifiers come with a combination carrying and sterilizing case. This has come in handy on several occasions. First, I was easily able to toss 2 clean pacifiers in the diaper bag and not worry about them rolling around and getting dirty. When they did become dirty it was so easy to simply clean the pacifier with soapy water, fill the container up with some water and microwave them in the case for a few minutes. It gave me so much peace of mind to know that they were actually sterilized and safe for baby to use again.
These are my favorite pacifiers, hands down. They also seem to be my baby's based on her acceptance of this pacifier versus a few others we have tried. I love the air vents around my baby's mouth and she prefers the flatter nipple over some of the round pacifiers on the market. I love that they have the handle to attach a pacifier clip, include a carrying/sanitizing case and are super cute. We have tried some of the solid silicone pacifiers that leave red marks on my baby's face and entire area around her mouth covered in slimy saliva. From my firstborn, I know this eventually leads to skin issues. With the Philips Avent Ultra Air, we avoid the marks and chapped skin while providing our baby something to soothe her when she is fussy and while falling asleep.I only buy pacifiers that include the carrying/sterilizing case. I need a place to conveniently store pacifiers everywhere in our lives including the upstairs and downstairs changing stations, diaper bag, and by her bassinet. The carrying case comes in so handy and if you're out somewhere with a microwave and sink, you can always wash a pacifier that fell on the ground and sanitize it so you have it cooled off and ready for soothing baby during the car ride home. Sanitizing pacifiers in a small case in the microwave is so much easier than going through the ritual of boiling a pot of water while holding your screaming baby and trying to keep your toddler away from the stove. Finally, I appreciate the handle which makes it easier to attach a pacifier clip and hold the pacifier for the baby until she latches on. I love the soft colors and sweet little deer and owl designs. My only complaint is it can be hard to get the water out of the inside after washing because of the placement/design of the handle. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this pacifier pack.
I am super excited to leave a review about this pacifier. My sweet baby girl had been using another model of a pacifier for 16 months, since birth. They were nice but we got tired of their simple, single-color design, and also they did not have anything for babies older than 6mo. I tried at least 4 different pacifiers and my baby never accepted any of them. Until we received "Philips Avent Ultra Air Pacifier" through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The first thing that attracted me was the fact that they were designed for my baby's age! such a relief! I was still not sure if she will accept them easily so I just gave her the pacifier while putting her into the car and told her to look at the "bear" and made some bear-like sounds (she LOVEs to know about animals ... MoreI am super excited to leave a review about this pacifier. I was still not sure if she will accept them easily so I just gave her the pacifier while putting her into the car and told her to look at the "bear" and made some bear-like sounds (she LOVEs to know about animals and their sounds!). The next thing I saw was that she put it in the mouth, tried it, and YAY! she loved it! I was still not sure if it will continue like this, but it did! she never asked for her old pacifiers during the last couple of weeks. She loves this one and makes a bear-like sound whenever puts it in the mouth:))).This is not all about this product. I am also in love with it for several reasons: 1- it has a nice design. The color is bright and you can say the quality is excellent. 2- It really DOES let more air travel around her mouth, so her skin around lips is never red, irritated, or wet after using the pacifier for a long time. 3- most importantly, they came with a carry box which made my life much easier since I have to carry pacifiers everywhere with us. I use the box every night to sterilize one pair (while she uses the other pair during the night) and let them be there, clean and sterilized, ready for tomorrow. I highly recommend these pacifiers if you have a baby who loves blinkies.
Special thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing this pacifier for review! Before having a baby, I thought a paci was a paci but it quickly became clear that there is definitely a range of functionalities as well as aesthetics. It took just a few minutes to pop it into the microwave and have a clean pair of pacifiers ready to go. It also solves the problem of what to keep the pacifiers in as it’s a ready to go perfectly sized container. One of the main touted benefits of the pacifier is that it keeps the child’s lips drier thanks to the vented design. I can’t say we’ve ever noticed an issue with moist lips with other pacifiers so for us this is more of a “nice to have” feature. I do like the fact that the nipple isn’t round so that it’s somewhat better for dental health. I do however tend to prefer a round lip guard because for some reason that looks more “upscale” to me than the figure 8 shape. That being said, this is probably one of the best looking pacifiers of that “8” shape.Ultimately, my toddler didn’t take to the pacifier. Although I think the pacifier is nice overall and my kid was intrigued by it, she just prefers the one she’s used to. I do look forward to trying these with the next baby! I think if introduced earlier on we could have really taken advantage of its design.
