Players looking for power, precision and spin should love the Boost S, one of the better values in Babolat's racquet line. At 10.4 ounces this racquet is light enough for both beginners and rising juniors, but it should also work well for intermediate adults looking for explosive acceleration. With its aerodynamic beam, whippy feel and open 16x19 string pattern, the Boost S offers all the ingredients needed for generating effective spin. The 102 square inch head is forgiving, lively and surprisingly precise. With their time-tested Woofer grommet system, Babolat adds some extra comfort and power to the stringbed - a welcomed feature considering the firm (and powerful) beam. From the baseline this user-friendly racquet moves through the air with remarkable ease. The crisp and accurate response will give you the confidence to swing for power. At net the Boost S is never late the party. It moves into position quickly and provides a comfortably firm platform for blocking the ball into the open court. The speedy feel is also an asset on serves, where this stick explodes through contact to offer plenty of pop and easy targeting. Players looking for a high level of all-around playability should give this user-friendly racquet a serious look. The fact that it comes pre-strung is a nice bonus!

I'm a 3.5 player who was away from the game for a number of years before returning to it. I used to play with a Pro Staff, so I started back with the black (non-CounterVail) Pro Staff. But the Pro Staff started to feel a little bit too flexible -- not much room for error on shots not struck quite right. I was looking for a happy medium. I tried the Pure Aero but didn't like it. I'm 6'4" 200 and a former football player, and powerful rackets just give me no control. This was just about what I hoped for: It's definitely not as much power as the Aero, but has a bigger sweet spot than the Pro Staff and is a great defensive racket if you like to wear down opponents. I haven't quite found the touch with it for drop shots, etc., after a couple of matches, but that may ... MoreI'm a 3.5 player who was away from the game for a number of years before returning to it. I have it strung with RPM Blast 17, and I may experiment with other strings if I decide I want more power in the future.

The racquet is a good product with custom string. The delivery was fast. However, when the string was sprayed with Babolat logo, the spray was on to the frame. It was not serious but disappointed as a present.

The team at TWA were so helpful in pairing me with a racquet which suited my game and my preferences. Babolat Pure Strike Tour is well weighted and offers superb power and control. I’ll be on the tour in no time…

Coming from the 2nd Gen Tour this racquet is too muted, and lacks the stiff easy power and feel of the previous generation. Babolat seems to have spent more time on the paint job (fantastic as it is) than the racquet. You may love it, but if you are trying to replace your 2nd Gen model you will find it a COMPLETELY different and to me unsatisfactory racquet. Thankfully my son loves it and I have found 2 new 2nd generation racquets on eBay which are on their way.
Very impressed with this racket. Since the mains are closer together in the center in that region the racket feels like a 18 X 19 string pattern. The wght balance and flexibility feels very similar to the Technifibre 305 which I also like.
I’ve been playing with this racket over my whole highschool tennis season and it was awesome! That paint wouldn’t chip and the strings weren’t loose what so ever. Even now after a couple months of having it the strings didn’t loosen. Over all it was a really good quality racket. 10/10!!!
I purchased this racket and I am very upset because this racket is not what I was anticipating. This racket SPEC is very misleading because this racket is very light like a piece of paper. I can't begin to comprehend how my HEAD Radical S racket with a Strung Weight of 294.8g/10.4 oz is much heavier than this Babolat racket with a Strung Weight of 298g/10.5 oz. I which could give this review ZERO star.
Our family is a tennis family. The kids have been playing tennis with their dad since kindergarten. it was time for my daughter to upgrade her racket but she isn't quite ready for an adult racket. This was perfect! She started using it immediately and loves it!
picked this up for the lowest price in aus, service and delivery time was great. the only think I might take half a star off for was that the bubble wrap had come off during transport. in saying that, it was sturdy box and the racquet was in perfect condition. also this racquet is the bomb if you like a denser string bed.
