Nearly 5 month old baby captivated by the bold colours of the sea creatures, the mat, the black and white poles and even the label! Baby has hit the turtle a couple of times (with fist) activating the display (by accident). Plays different tunes and sounds every time you press the turtle's belly and says words in English, Spanish and French in sequence. For example it will give the word of a musical instrument, such as 'flute' and will repeat the word in Spanish and French before playing a little tune that sounds like a flute. You can't select languages or what is played next, and only one colour flashes - orange - also the sounds/tunes are quite short and don't play continuously; it would be 5 stars if it did that. The mat isn't very padded and we have hard wood floors so some big blankets have to go underneath to prevent baby from hurting her head. Haven't used the accompanying tummy time pillow yet. Plan to detach the toy bar and use on long car rides next to the infant carrier. Overall pretty decent for the price.
