Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller. When I first opened the box I thought I was going to have a difficult time putting it together but to my surprise it only took arouns 5-10minutes. It came with an instructions booklet with both written instructions and pictures which always make it easier to understand when putting things together. I just popped in 4 tires and slid on the 2 canopies which also snap into place for additional reinforcement and we were ready to go. I must say I was hesitant to go out of my house doorway as I didnt think it would fit and to my surprise it easily fit through my doorway!! I went for a stroll and really fell in love with the big UV 50+ canopies lots of extra protection from the sun. My children were very happy being able to relax and enjoy the ride without the sun in their eyes. It also has an adjustable calf support which can be brought up and both seats recline practically flat which let's them rest easily as if we were in bed so incase we missed naptime at home. It would be alot better if the handle bar was adjustable although it was at a good height for me, for my husband it was a bit low so if we were able to bring it up it would have been alot more comfortable for him pushing. It doesnt come with cup holders for kids or parents but those accessories can be purchased separately online which I definitely need I'm glad that we have the option to customize the stroller to our preferences. It has a very large basket under for carrying anything you might need I did find it easier to access through the front of the stroller lifting the adjustable calf support. This stroller fits through standard size doorways and was very easy to maneuver through my home hallway and doorways, it's so compact when folded that it easily fit into our small closet . Its compact size also made it very easy to move around in the crowded mall my children were very relaxed and enjoyed the ride. Once I was ready to put it into the back of our suv it took just one pull of two straps on the seats and it folds so easily its compact size left room in my trunk for our shopping bags and other items . When it folds it is a bit heavy and the seats are faced outward which I did not like since it allows them to get dirty I think if it folded with the inside of the seats inward it would protect the seats from getting dirty in the trunk or anywhere. I really enjoyed testing this stroller as a mother of a 1 and 2yr old this has made my life so much easier to run errands,go to dr appointments, shopping ,taking walks with each of my children comfortable in their own adjusted preference. I now have my hands free to fill out paperwork, shop, and get things done while they enjoy the ride .thanks stellar parent Panel

Hands down the best feature on this stroller was the ease of folding (one-handed!) and compactness once folded. This is a GREAT city stroller. The wheels even come off with a quick button press to make it even flatter folded if needed.I think the worst feature is the seatbelt design - 5 separate pieces that you must click/slide together individually each time you buckle. It’s hard to think of a scenario personally when that would be a strong benefit over the typical 3-point click; mostly I just find it adds time every time I buckle baby in.The only other annoyance so far is also seatbelt related - the padding tends to slide to the wrong place and interfere. The padding over the central buckle (between the legs) tends to slide up and cover the buckle so you have to fish for the buckle, and I often find the shoulder pads in the wrong place, making it difficult to quickly adjust tightness on the shoulder straps. The last constructive feedback I’ll mention is that it doesn’t stand up on its own in the folded position, which would be nice.I do love the large canopy, which combined with the foot elevation pad and deep lay-back, we took advantage of during a trip to the zoo to give baby a nice nap completely out of the sunshine while we walked around and showed our toddlers more animals. I find the adjustment from recline to upright very straightforward too - I’ve switched back and forth easily multiple times. Finally, the rubber handlebar grip is more comfortable and grippy than the foam or fake leather of some of my other strollers. All in all this is a maneuverable, compact stroller that is great for quick errands, in and out of cars, and is easily maneuverable. It boasts a large canopy and reasonable basket, with some good material touches. I don’t like the seatbelt style or seatbelt pads, but I’m generally pleased with the stroller and it will be my go-to compact one. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller; it has some great features and our family will definitely continue to use it!

Extremely disappointing
27 June 2023

My sister has had her city mini for over 9 years and with three boys. We absolutely love it so when I was building my registry there was no question this would be my stroller. Upon set up I became extremely disappointed when realizing that my infant car seat could only attach if the sun shade was removed. With the older style a Chicco car seat would fit with the sun shade allowing the infant to be covered and protected from the sun. The newer model leaves my infant open to the sun with no option to protect him. Also, the car seat attachment has to be removed every time the stroller is folded. On the older models, the attachment was very different and could stay on while folded. It’s just a big hassle having to carry so many parts because they all can’t be attached ... MoreMy sister has had her city mini for over 9 years and with three boys. It’s bad enough trying to remember baby necessities while traveling let alone sun shade and car seat attachment for options to ride.

Good quality and features, but misleading.

We were extremely pleased with the quality of the stroller itself. The ease of use for folding, storing, converting, etc. is really great. The features are also great for the price compared to other similar strollers. The reason this gets only two stars from me is because the information on the website about compatibility could not be more misleading. I bought this stroller specifically because it was compatible with the Uppababy Mesa car seat. It says on the product page that it is compatible with that car seat as well as in the document they supply for car seat compatibility. After weeks of trying to contact Baby Jogger via multiple emails and phone calls with no response and no answer, I was finally able to get someone on chat who eventually told me the adapter ... MoreWe were extremely pleased with the quality of the stroller itself. And now I have to figure out how to return the product through our registry, which is turning out to be a complete pain.

Great stroller for on the go

I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel!Love this stroller for quick in and out of the car situations.I was in the market for a stroller that I could easily fold/unfold and store in the trunk of my sedan. I have a larger stroller that i use when I am out in the park or when I go somewhere i need my son to be able to recline, however that stroller is cumbersome and I hate lugging it around and taking space in my small trunk so this Citi mini is perfect for those quick errands around town. My son is 6 months old and about 19/20lbs. This stroller was perfect for his size. In fact, it would be perfect for a larger baby and even a toddler. There are adjusters on the stroller that allows you to adjust it based on hight/ size of the child. The material is lightweight. No padding and can’t recline so don’t expect that in this stroller, but that leads to it being lightweight which is the purpose of this particular stroller.I was able to easily open and close this stroller with one hand while holding my little one in the other hand. It also comes with a sun/rain shade for when you ate caught out and about. The three wheel design makes it very easy to maneuver (much easier in my opinion than the four wheel design). It has one click button to unfold and one pull to close and lock the stroller in a neat foldable package. I was able to do this with one hand. Another thing i loved about it was the simple instructions for assembly. I was able to assemble this on my own in less than 15 min. No tools were needed. Everything was click and go.One thing i would like to see changed in this stroller is the adjusters. I had to stick my hand thru the back of the inside fabric of the stroller to adjust. U less there is another way i am not familiar with... it’s small flaw and should not sway you from purchasing this stroller.Definitely recommend!

Love it!

I have been using the stroller and car seat for almost 7 months. The stroller is absolutely amazing. I love that I don't have to worry about puncturing a wheel, and can still take it on trails. It's also compact enough that I can take it into a store and not take up too much space. I would definitely recommend this stroller. I've read complaints about the basket size but that hasn't been an issue for me. I use a tote bag for a diaper bag, and can fit quite a lot of stuff in the basket (yesterday I had the tote bag, stroller rain cover, bag of groceries, my rain jacket, water bottle, and small purse!). The one thing I wish were different is that even when the seat is in the most-upright position, there is still a bit of recline to it. The one thing I wish were different is that even when the seat is in the most-upright position, there is still a bit of recline to it. Sometimes my baby is leaning forward trying to sit up straighter to get a better view. This seems like an easy fix from the company for future models. I might just use a string and McGiver it to be tighter / more upright.I read a lot of bad reviews on the car seat. I don't have any complaints. I love that I don't have to rethread the straps when my baby grows, just slide the head rest up (I can't imagine having to retread everytime!). My baby is 17lbs and 27" long at almost 7 months old. His head is in the 91st percentile! So I'm surprised we haven't had any issues with the fit, given how many reviews state their babies don't fit at a smaller size. I don't think it will last until 12 months, but I think we can get another month or two out of at least. If I were looking to purchase again I would probably skip the travel system though and just start with a convertible car seat. It is nice to bring the seat to and from the car but it's for such a short period of time (I stopped doing that around 5 months when my baby was heavier) and I haven't connected the car seat to the stroller even one time. Everyone told me an infant car seat was essential but I don't think it really was considering we have to buy a second car seat soon anyways. Just something to consider while you are shopping! :)

Luxurious and my new favorite stroller
30 September 2021

Between strollers I've owned, borrowed and ones sent to me for testing, I have a decent amount of experience with various strollers and features. After trying out the City Mini GT2, I can easily say the Baby Jogger brand continues to supply exceptional quality in their strollers. The material of the City Mini GT2 is lovely. I have one Baby Jogger brand high end convertible double stroller which I've always loved and the material in this GT2 seems to be even softer and nicer. But nothing beats how smooth this thing moves. As far as assembly goes, it was pretty easy despite the subpar instruction. But nothing beats how smooth this thing moves. As far as assembly goes, it was pretty easy despite the subpar instruction. The instructions do not include any verbage, only pictures and not what I would necessarily consider super easy to follow pictures either (although I've definitely seen way worse). Despite that though, I found the assembly process to be pretty intuitive and quick. Once assembled, my nearly 40lb 3yr old son wasted no time climbing into it (despite it being more for his younger brother lol) and I was able to easily spin him in a full smooth circle with a push from one hand. Both he and his little brother have enjoyed their rides in it and seemed quite comfy. The basket underneath is nice and large and will fit a good amount of stuff. It opens and closes easily and smoothly. The only negatives I found, and these are minor and in no way deal breakers at all, is that it's a bit of pain to change the strap height and it does not come with any accessories like parent or child trays. Which I do feel like when you are spending money for more of a luxury item, it would be nice to have some of those accessories included. However, it did come with adapters for an infant carrier but as I don't have any of those anymore, I was not able to test that part out. Overall, I absolutely love this stroller and it has become my new every day stroller for my 20 month old. I would absolutely recommend it. I must mention that I received this product for free through the Stellar Product Testing Panel but trust me when I say, this is an honest review!

Ultimately irritating
1 September 2023

Pro: It's very easy to maneuver across rough terrain and folds very easily. Con: the storage bin is small and impossible to access from the front or back, its not self standing when folded, and can tip fairly easily because the diaper bag essentially has to hang off the handle bar. But the thing that tips this stroller into irritating is that the does not come with a belly bar and the company has discontinued both the belly bar and snack tray so you CANNOT purchase it yourself anywhere. Why do they continue to sell an item without supporting its accessories? I don't understand their production decisions and I won't be buying baby jogger anymore.

Upgrades but some features are a downgrade
14 December 2021

I recently upgraded from the original citymini. Overall a much better stroller. Wheels and traction and steering are serious upgrades. As with prior versions it lays close to flat and lifts at the seat for super easy collapsing. The adjustable handlebar and the footrest lift are also great upgrades. I actually bought this one solely for the footrest lift. However, with it come some supposed improvements that in my opinion are really a downgrade. Instead of the easy foot lock, now it’s to on the side and by hand. Not helpful for busy moms with their hands full. The canopy also doesn’t have the night interior extension which made it darker for napping in the stroller. And the new tray is higher making it harder for little ones to see out so we don’t use it at Disney ... MoreI recently upgraded from the original citymini. Overall a much better stroller. It also doesn’t swing to the side like the prior version so you have to completely detach it and store it. Not helpful. I really miss these features and hope baby jogger improves them in the next version. I have the uppababy and Bob and this is still my travel preferred stroller
