Obsessed! When I had my first, I knew wearing him was going to be essential as I was working from home full time and still needed to keep up with other housework. I struggled with other wraps but when I found the Baby K’tan Wrap, it was a lifesaver. The overall design left me feeling confident that my baby was secure and wouldn’t slip out and with the additional tie wrap, it just me feeling even more comfortable when wearing him. This is a must have for all moms that want to wear their babies but can’t quite get the hang of other wraps!

My newborn is super fussy always wants to be held. But as a mother and wife, there's always housework to be done. The traditional baby carriers are always to big for him since he was a preemie. I decided to give a baby wrap a try. I didn't want to spend an absurd amount of money on a piece of fabric since I didn't even know if I was going to like It or not so I went with the Acrobros baby wrap. And let me tell you, It's a game changer! This wrap is super comfortable and the fabric is lightweight and breathable. After a few tries, I got the hang of the wrap and it was super easy to put on and take off. It holds my baby snuggly but not to tight. And i can totally be hands free while holding my little one close. I got the wrap in black and it looks super chic. Plus, ... MoreMy newborn is super fussy always wants to be held. When I had my first baby I got the Moby wrap, which took forever to get ready/ master. Once she was bigger I switched to the Ergobaby which I love but wanted something like the Moby for my second born while he’s still so little. After reading reviews I decided to get this one, it has been wonderful. So easy to get on and wear baby quickly. Having hands free for my toddler has been a lifesaver, while still giving baby number 2 snuggles.

Comfortable and easy to use
29 September 2022

This carrier is amazing! I had such trouble with other wraps and slings—either too tough to wrap/tie or asymmetrical and uncomfortable for me and baby. This is so easy to put on and my baby loves all 3 ways I’ve worn her—kangaroo, hug, and outward facing. She often only naps in this…drives me crazy sometimes but at least it is comfortable for me. The extra pouch/tie helps lower the weight distribution so it’s not all on my shoulders—I wrap it around her in front, feed the ties through the back loop, then bring them around front to tie a bow. The manual didn’t say anything about feeding the toes through the back loop but it sure makes it more comfortable and doesn’t compromise the safety of the carrier.

Fantastic carrier for around the house or on the go!

Baby K'tan original carrier:I have four kids with a big enough gap between the first two and the last two that I got rid of all my baby gear and had to begin again from scratch (horrible for my pocket book, but so much fun buying all the stuff I wish I had done differently the first time!)One of the baby items I struggled with when I had the older kids was finding a good baby carrier. This carrier is similar to a wrap carrier in that it is cloth style, but you don't have all the complex wrapping that standard warps require.I purchased the K'tan when my fourth baby was 3 months old. I carried her facing in, and 9/10 times she would fall asleep within minutes of me walking around. As she got bigger I transitioned to a forward hold, but didn't like the feel of that and switched to a hip hold (switching back to baby facing in when she gets tired). Unfortunately this carrier doesn't let you put the child on your back which would be great for longer wearing.I was concerned about the lack of shoulder padding with this carrier, but so far with regular use I haven't had any issues. My littlest one is 10 months old now and I often take her out in this carrier. It's great for use around the house, in stores, or on shorter easy hikes (I did a five hour hike this past weekend with the baby and older kids and by the end of it my upper back and shoulders were sore. If you're an avid hiker I definitely recommend a different carrier for long strenuous use; however, it has been fine on shorter hikes of about an hour). My petite three year old likes to be carried in the K'tan, too. She uses the hip position and it takes a lot of strain off my back when carrying her. This carrier is lightweight, easily fits in a diaper bag, and is great for daily use. There is a mesh version available as well and would probably pick that next time as I live in the South West and have a baby that generates heat like a furnace!Overall this is a great product (especially for how inexpensive it is compared to other carriers) for the money and I recommend it to anyone looking for a light easy carrier.

Good idea, not a great product
9 March 2020

I really wanted to like this purchase. I thought the idea was great; a carrier that was made from sturdy but stretchy fabric, that could just be slipped on with not hook or clips and hold baby. However, each and every time I try to use this product, it just feels so uncomfortable! The fabric pieces are so large in width (presumably to hold baby more securely) that when I wear the K’tan, they roll onto themselves. So instead on evenly distributing baby’s weight across my back and side, the fabric digs into my sides as the weight of my baby pulls down the fabric. I used the sizing guide and bought a M. And initially I thought this might have been the issue, as I was quite large after giving birth. But even now, after losing close to 60 pounds, I still have the same problems.I am not sure if this just works better with smaller babies (mine is in the 85th percentile), or if I am just using it incorrectly. But I have tried looking at videos online for proper use, as well as followed the instruction guides that are sold with the product, and always the same problems. At this point, my baby even seems to be uncomfortable as I cannot seem to get her to seat properly, no matter how I pull, twist or place the fabric.I ended up buying myself a second carrier of a different make.

Love it
24 August 2021

My little one is 6 almost 7 months. I was a little worried at first because all the pictures were of little babies. My babe is tall and has lots of rolls. I have other brands of Carriers and they hurt my shoulders. Not this one! I have used it 5 times now and it's perfect. Baby falls asleep everytime and it doesnt hurt me anywhere. Super comfortable. I would definitely recommend.

My Little Girl Loves It.

I bought this carrier a just after the birth of my daughter so I could comfortably carry her while managing my toddler. I bought it based on the sizing chart they have on the Baby KTan website. I’m 5’6” and my weight is 215 and I am a pretty busty woman. I ordered the extra large. I quickly realized when it arrived and I tried it out that the XL was WAY to big. My daughter (who was 7lbs 2oz) kept slipping below my chest. I contacted the company for sizing advice and they recommended I exchange it for a large. The L is better than the XL but it sages a bit more than I care for. I am strongly considering having my MIL make it smaller instead of going through the process of exchanging it again. It is very well made and the material is great quality the sizing is just a guessing game. All in all I enjoy how easy it is put on I would buy it again compared to carriers I have had in the past. Also my daughter tends to get hot and sweats if I wear it for more then 15-20 minutes outside. Keep in mind I live in Georgia so it’s exceptionally hot in the summer. She is very comfortable when we are inside and 9/10 falls asleep immediately.

Not suitable for boys over 1 years old!
13 May 2022

I bought it for the reason my first child can go out in a sling! It didn't work very well and I wanted to return it, but my friend said he could keep his second child, so I didn't return it and put it in the cupboard without using it again! Now my second child goes out and uses it! Because the newborn, is suitable, but sometimes still feel inconvenient, not "ergobaby" as simple to use it! And when I bought it, there was no color choice! Otherwise I wouldn't have bought black! Take out feel a lot of dust what is easy to stick up, not easy to beat off!

Super easy to use
4 July 2021

I am an expecting dad and am very excited to use this! I tried it on before my wife and it's so easy just goes in like a t-shirt and can be adjusted in so many ways! I have been getting overwhelmed with all baby products and different options but this one is so simple and easy! The material is very breathable and light, but strong enough to hold the baby and stretch as needed. I got the medium as that's the size unusually wear and it fits perfectly. The instructions are very clear and there are some very good tips.
