I love this potty so much! I potty trained my boy at 22 months before I had my second child. While it did take about a month for my son to be fully trained, this potty was instrumental in my success. My son is large for his age, but since I started him so young I needed a potty that was low to the ground and this was it. And easily could get on and off of it and it is easy to clean. 5 months later and he still loves it and prefers it to the normal toilet. When my friends ask me for potty recommendations, I always mention this one.

Trying to potty train my son was definitely a trying experience! I purchased so many books, dvds, potty "paraphernalia", including this potty seat, I could've opened my own store! Fortunately, this chair proved to be extremely helpful! First off, I was extremely pleased with the height of the built in splash guard! My sons "aim" tended to be a bit high for other chairs that he tried, but it was not an issue with this one! No more messy bathroom floors! I originally purchased the original Bjorn chair with the high back for my house my mother wanted to have to the same chair for her house, as not to confuse my son. When I went to purchase her chair, I saw this new design with the short back rest instead. While my son had no problem with this new design, he did feel a bit more secure with the higher back support. My only complaint is that often times, when my son would attempt to stand after he was finished, the removable bucket would stick to his behind sometimes spill when it fell off. A minor inconvenience, compared to the help it provided when training him!

I purchased a Bjorn potty for my daughter when we started looking forward to potty training. It's been a slow process but she has finally grasped the idea! She loves her potty, and we take it with us in the back of my truck when we go out, so she has a comfortable place to go should she need it. Since the parts are few, simple, and without seams, it's easy to rinse and wipe clean, which is a big plus. I have noticed though that if she leans forward to grab a toy or something, it is fairly easy to tip. But I am guessing this is a problem rather unique to us; not all kids are going to lean forward like that. If she has been sitting for a while, when she stands up the inside can stick to her, so there's also spill possibilities there, but again, it's designed for easy ... MoreI purchased a Bjorn potty for my daughter when we started looking forward to potty training. Absolutely love this potty!! We have it up stairs in our kiddos bathroom for easy access when he needs to go potty quickly. Also super portable. We take it with us when we are traveling. Our older kids will even use it when we go away from the house for extended periods of time where there may not be a potty close by. Super easy to clean.
Great for my 2 year old. Low profile and no back Means he can run to it from anywhere and sit either direction for success. The high lip on both sides acts as a splash guard. Also lets him get very low and squat making #2 that mush easier. Easy to clean. Only a beginner but He prefers this over the other ones we have.
My son has autism so he's 6 but potty training him was hard and longer than most kids due to this. He was very picky and at 4 he wasn't there yet. I got this potty chair as a gift actually for my daughter (she was 2 at the time) she took to it got potty trained quickly the chair was great for her but what was really special was my son finally liked a chair! Now of course you would think it would be because his sister did but actually had tried that before and it was no sale for him. He loved this chair and in only 2 weeks he started using it for #1 it was like a godsend. And a few months later we had full potty training. When I asked him why he loved this chair so much he said it was comfy and it didn't look scary which i took as to him there was no pressure and it ... MoreMy son has autism so he's 6 but potty training him was hard and longer than most kids due to this. I can't thank babybjorn enough! This was also a joy product for me easy to clean and store! I have a 5 month old and when she gets older you bet this chair will be purchased for her as well!!
So, potty training has been difficult for my boys, but my two year old seems to struggle most. He is very out of sight out of mind, and if the potty isn't in the room with him then regardless of whether he's wearing pants or not, he will just have an accident. My Husband fell for the bulky cartoon character toilet and while our son loved playing with it, he never used it. Ever. So, Mom and BabyBjorn took over. This potty travels to every room, is so easy to clean, no hidden bits that odors can camp out in, and is pretty sleek (for a potty chair). He doesn't get sidetracked, handles his business and tells me when he's done. We still deal with the occasional accident, but there are far fewer and we loved it so much we got one for Grandmas house! Thank you for making a ... MoreSo, potty training has been difficult for my boys, but my two year old seems to struggle most. Thank you for making a functional, minimalist cute potty chair that hits the needs and wants of parents everywhere! It only took us three kids to find the right fit, but you can count on our toilet training business when our last little Babe ditches her diapers as well, only in pink!
Love this! I really appreciate the child safe materials that this is made out of. As soon as both our children stopped using this toilet seat they were diagnosed with toilet seat dermatitis (eczema caused by sitting on the toilet seat). They both are just fine though if they use this plastic seat and have no skin troubles. So thank you for using skin friendly products to make your seat out of!!! We also really like how easy this is to clean. Its durability is great too. It has lasted through all of our kids. Lastly our children who were scared to sit on most potty seats at first felt instantly secure and comfortable on this one. A really great product!
We purchased this travel potty to go with our two matching baby Bjorn potty chairs. The chairs we use in our bathrooms and this potty we use on the go. They are all the same color to send a message of continuity and comfort to our little one. This potty was invaluable when my little one was first learning. A much cleaner option than public restrooms. When vacationing we used this right on the bathroom floor. We simply put a toilet cover down and put this on top and let our little one go just like she does at home. This fits nicely in the stroller basket and cleans simply. We still use this in the car for untimely bathroom needs or just as a safer and cleaner alternative.
Great design. Easy for little ones to manage themselves - our 2.5yo has learnt to take the inner out and empty contents into the toilet. Would recommend.
