Reasonably priced. Easy enough to adjust size. Thought the installation template wasn't good enough and needs more descriptive elements and obvious instructions. Only install if you are good at d.i.y. If not get some help. Overall its a good product and has lasted quite a battering; only because I have installed it correctly and also used adhesive to attach everything to my walls.

The box was missing the guide to install the latches so it was very difficult to align the latches correctly. This resulted in multiple attempts and additional holes in the wall. I purchased this gate as it was one of the only ones that met the specifications we needed, but I would have returned it if another model of the same size was available. The gate does not open smoothly compared to the other baby gates we have and often requires two hands to open/close which is a significant negative.

I bought this secondhand from a woman on FB years ago and mounted it to the door frame at the top of our stairs (because for whatever reason the people who sold us the house thought a door that opens OVER the stairs was a good idea and I was having none of that ridiculousness). It took a bit of work to get it mounted in the correct spot especially since we realized the cat could go under it at first. Once we had it set everything has been perfect with it opening all the way to both sides (the lock that makes it go only one direction is simple to remove if you want) and being sturdy. My house stairs has a weird structure. Both side are not aligned and I was trying so hard find a baby gate that work out. We had been ordered and returned for so many because it didn’t worked out until we are in luck with this gate. It works perfectly fine. But only one thing that bothering me is when you open it hard, the bottom part of the gate failed off. It happened to me once but my husband got a lot of trouble with it. I would just take away only 0.5 star but they don’t have that choice for me.
Just bought a second one and again this item is honestly the most secure gate. And for the price it’s amazing. I had other gates that literally fell apart without touching them. And this is so safe compared. It takes a little work to assemble but what’s a little work for the safety of your child?
We have a staircase leading to the basement for which we decided to get this gate. The gate itself is sturdy and works well. However the instructions were not helpful. There are no written instructions. Only drawings and they are tiny, you need a magnifying glass to distinguish which pieces are shown in the drawings. I had to redo the wall brackets twice, drill remove screws drill remove the screws and drill till I had it right. So if you like puzzles then you might enjoy setting this up.
Got this gate cuz it's hard to find a gate that fits a 28 inch doorway. This gate is easy to use once u get the hang of it. Will mount an hang anywhere. Instructions are all on an app, sucks. I'm pretty good at picture an puzzle reading so it only took me 10 mins. I now have five in my house. Also my two year old gets upset when behind it an pills on it,so far so good. Love the easy take down hinges as well. I think the temples are useless. I just measure from floor to top of gate hing an mount there.
We live in an RV and could not find any baby gates that could deal with the quirky angles until we found this one!! I needed something I could install at an angle and extra perk is by pulling a peaice out, i can easily remove the gate and tuck it away. I found the instructions easy. There as a book and a link for visual instructions on an app. Takes a little work to figure out exactly what you need to do for your set up, buy otherise easy.
Bought this to keep my posse of dogs out of the hallway, and it is wonderful. Easy to fit and easy to use (even opening OK one - handed). Only been up a few days but seems plenty strong enough. Would buy again! One good point is there is no threshold across the floor so no tripping up, and when it is open the gate is narrow so almost like it's not there when carrying large items passed it.
I bought some other gates and this is by far the best. I use this at the top of my steps. It opens easy and closes tight. I have absolutely no worries about like I had with the auto gates. And the actual material is made quality. No question. This is the only safe gate I found & at a good affordable price. It can adjust in many ways and Again very strong. My son can’t pull this open like the others.
