I do wish that Babyliss would add a taper blade(or various sizes of blades) to the arsenal. Also the ability to zero-gap the fade blade would be nice , heck, even the ability to open the blade up just one more notch wouldn't hurt either. The guards are plastic, but sturdy, and a smaller guard needs to be added as well (premium guards as an option or possibly?-it would be nice). I enjoy using this clipper and would love to see an upgrade.

Bought not even a week ago and the guards are junk and weak! First time ever Botched a 6yr olds back to school haircut on the crown because the guard came off! This is the second day of using brand new clippers and a couple days later finishing area tapered I shut the unit off and the guard popped off! Purchased at Cosmoprof and can’t return, have the Asurion protection plan they won’t do anything, and the company wants to send me guards for a clipper I do not trust this isn’t a good investment and recommend you not purchase these

Well worth the buy and at a great price. If youre into trying different style clippers and in the market give these a try. If youre new to cutting hair, these might not be a good first time option. I personally love them for all around cutting, debulking 5 starts, detail work 5 stars, battery life 5 stars, I use different guards but the guards that come with the set are not that good but you can use universal Speed-O-Guards to compensate. All in all good product. Good shipment, fast reliable definitely buy again.

This is a very good trimmer. It's not the widest but the attachments are solid and don't come loose like other reviews say. Being that it's cordless it is much easier to use in the batter has lasted a very long time. It is not what I would consider a barber quality machine some for home use this is probably one of the best
great clipper overall, but it does take a little time to get used to it because of the different lever that it has and the also the guards from the 0 to 1 are almost identical and little too thick for the size. For 49.99 this clipper is steal and you just can't beat that price, so I'd say if your thinking of purchasing this machine just do it. Nordstrom Rack gets a W with this price!!!
These clippers are awesome. I don't know what everyone's problem is but the guards snap on tight and the sizes start from .5 all the way to a 6. Thats good compared to andis, Wahl,etc clippers where some only give you maybe 3 guards lol. These are very strong to go through bulk hair also. Andthe battery life says 5 hrs I;ved used it a few times in 7 days and the little metter light is still full. It does take some getting used to because the control in in the center as opposed to a side lever like most clipps. and you can zero gap these blades. So for the price of $49.97, these are a good deal I think.
Delivery time was a week earlier than expected, and the packaging was up to par. Unfortunately, right out the box I turned the clippers on and the blade of the clippers flew off (literally flew off). I was able to snap it back on, but wouldn’t dare use them on a client or myself. It really sucks that they can’t be returned (this is a final sale item), and can’t be used safely.
I was already a fan of the x2 so I had to get the x3 when it came out. Always loved that the lever down the middle. Makes it easy to go back and forth. Guards are super low profile and flat which I love for any fine tuning of my haircut. I know this review is for the clipper, but the matching trimmer is the best I’ve ever used in all my career. Does exactly what I need it to do. Part of every haircut I do and you really can’t beat the 5 hour runtime
I oreder these BaByliss hair clippers and once i received and opened the box. i was amazed to see empty bags and a pair of used hair clippers that were not advertised as used. i also received less than all the items that were to be enclosed in box. i was also gifted a bootleg charger that is not OEM and ended up using my other BaByliss charger. This is a sign of poor integrity in my book. i am charging them now so this is part 1 of my review 5/16/2023 7:03pm unboxed.
Ok so these are the absolute bomb!!! I love the 2 settings, it helps to be able to slow the blades down to fade! Only thing I dont like is the guard teeth are spread out so far that if ur cutting thin hair it will leave a hard line that needs to be blended but my masters work great for that lol!! But these are the truth! Make sure u oil them up well before ur first cut and ur in the game!
