Ive used the fx3 trimmers for a few months now and without a doubt my favorite trimmers on my station. No other trimmer is getting as close to your foil as this one. This is the only trimmer im picking up when it comes to a shape up. And the battery life is crazy on these. 10/10 recommend

I bought these trimmers after a fellow barber spoke highly of them. I used them once out of the box they were extremely sharp so I knew they would be my hitters. Next time I tried to use them they began bouncing off the skin and hair… add oil hoping this would fix the problem now the trimmers won’t cut at all.. I contacted customer service months ago multiple times, no response. So I’ve been holding onto a pair of brand new trimmers that cost a good penny still waiting to hear back from customer service. Seems like the quality of these trimmers are hit or miss
This trimmer is extremely sharp out of the box so please set it back a bit and use the lightest of touches when lining. I love the Fx3 and I would’ve given it 5 stars but I have 2 complaints that made me remove a star. Firstly, the trimmer came without a blade cover/protector which is very unusual and out of the norm for babyliss. I would believe since this blade is so sharp and pricy that they would include a cover to protect it. I was disappointed with that. Secondly, I have been using the trimmer to shape beards and it has snagged hair multiple times so I would not recommend it for this use. Other than that this trimmer is a beast and excellent at its main functions of giving sharp lines and removing bulk effortlessly.
Cuts clean and close, feeds fast enough to replace larger clippers in some cases. Well balanced and ergonomically comfortable. Easy to clean with the exposed blade. Really like it!
The machine itself is amazing powerful and lightweight. I love the fx3 line. I honestly think that so much more can be done with it. But my only disappointment was the cam follower on the trimmer. Yet.. because I am a huge babyliss fan and promote the brand as if I was paid... I decided to fabricate a perfect setup using only parts that are 100% babyliss products.. no mods or bought things were used in fabrication. Now I have success. I have achieved the best and most powerful trimmer that hits super light on babies and can shread the thickest bulk clipper over comb with a trimmer! And the lines produced with the fabrication.. well yea. Unreal... ouch. That is how sharp they are.
Excellent trimmer and I would have given 5 stars but out of the blue the trimmer got very loud. When I received the trimmer was not loud at all but when turning on the last time the trimmer is very loud. I removed the blade, cleaned and adjusted but the loud noise is still there. I think as the blade moves back and forth it may be hitting the springs. Will probably use very sparingly as noise is intense. If anyone has suggests please let me know as for a brand new trimmer the noise is ridiculous.
Trimmer blades are so sharp, even with the lightest touch. Trimmer snags fine hair and beard hair. Would not recommend. Return policy thru my distributor was horrible. Only can return if unused???? How would I know that it was not going to work out?
Great size, weight, and skeleton head is great for visibility, cleaning and adjustment. I had to take 1 star away becuz it’s not zero gapped as the description states. But once I zero’d them they hit great. Battery is long lasting as well.
