Great choice when feeding a family when tramping multi day tramps. We add dehydrated mixed veges and sometimes Maggi savory mince packet for more flavour. Then dehydrated spuds.

I always take this and a few zip lok bags, generally I find a packet can last 3 - 4 meals as a simple 'extra' to bulk up a main meal. when I devide it up to cook with a main meal I usually don't add the full amount of extra water it says
The mixed veg together with their instant rice is a great base for many meals. Try that base with a pouch of Safcol Morrocan Tuna (Woolies stocks these) and you have a really delicious meal.
I live remotely (we get flooded in often) and these are so useful for quick add to meal. You wouldn't even know that they had been freeze dried when put in a stew, soup, bolognaise or whatnot.
I don’t think this is actually Freeze Dried like the company claims. It’s not lightweight. I think it’s dehydrated.
I've used these veggies for the past 4 hikes I've been on. They are consistently fantastic quality and taste great! I add garlic powder to the water while cooking them to give the flavour an extra kick. I add use them in my Thai green curry (coconut milk powder, packet curry and chickpeas on Back Country dehydrated rice) which is an easy to make crowd-pleaser!
