Tried the regular size. I found it to be extremely salty not sure what was going on there. The mash potatoes on the other hand were fantastic, instantly transformed as soon as it came in contact with boiling water. Had a hard time finishing the roast beef. If you were to buy it, I recommend the small size, other than those issues. The meal was easy to prepare. Roast Beed and Vegetables I'd give 3 stars due to over powering saltiness, the Mash potatoes 5 stars smells and tastes great.

Great after a massive day in the western arthurs this hit the nail on the head. Normally roast lamb if my fav but this gets up there too. Mashed spud is a nice filler.

Too sweet , too much sugar in the food . Green peas stayed like grain of sands , don't know why .
Good size serving. Very tasty. And the mashed potato and gravey yum.
The internal packet of mash inevitably is covered in the rest of the freeze dried meal, so if you are in a tent or have limited hand washing available it's a bit messy. Flavour was good.
I really liked the mashed potato and the beef. Probably not as "easy" to prepare and eat as the others (single package), but taste is just perfect.
The roast beef and veg is about up there with the roast chicken and veg which I gave 3.5 stars. A little too reliant on the saltiness in the gravy for taste. Have this with a wrap, or if by itself, go for the roast lamb and veg, which has a much more flavorsome mint gravy as opposed to salty gravy.
